🫐🎋🇰🇷그룹 BTS 팀의 맏형 진을 시작으로 순차적으로 입대하겠다는 뜻을 밝혔다.
17일 "방탄소년단 멤버 진(본명 김석진) 이달 말 입영 연기 취소를 신청하고 이후 병무청의 입영 절차를 따를 예정"이라며 "다른 멤버들도 각자의 계획에 따라 순차적으로 병역을 이행할 예정"이라고 공시했다.
진은 1992년생으로, 2020년 개정된 병역법에 따라 문화체육관광부 장관의 입영 연기 추천을 받아 만 30세까지인 올해 말까지 입영이 연기된 상태였다.
입영 연기를 자체 철회함에 따라 진은 입영통지서가 나오는 대로 현역 입대할 전망이다.
BTS 소속사 "당사는 아티스트들과 함께 그동안 병역 이행 계획을 구체화해왔고, 결정한 사항을 알려드리는 시점에 대해서도 많이 고민했다"며 "2030세계박람회 유치 지원을 위한 부산 콘서트가 마무리된 지금이 이를 알려드리기에 가장 적절한 시기라고 판단했다"고 밝혔다.
이어 " 대략 2025년에는 방탄소년단 완전체 활동의 재개를 희망하고 있다고"했다.

"BTS member Jin (real name Kim Seok-jin) will apply for the cancellation of the military service at the end of this month and follow the military service procedure of the Military Manpower Administration," he said on the 17th. "Other members will also perform their military service sequentially according to their plans."
Jin, who was born in 1992, was recommended by the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism to postpone his enlistment under the revised Military Service Act in 2020, and his enlistment had been postponed until the end of this year, when he was 30 years old.
As he withdrew his postponement of enlistment, Jin is expected to join the active-duty military as soon as he gets a notice of enlistment.
BTS' agency said, "We have been specifying our military service plan with artists, and we have been thinking a lot about when we will inform you of the decision," adding, "Now is the best time to inform you of the Busan concert to support the 2030 World Expo."
He then said, "We hope to resume the full-fledged activities of BTS by 2025.
