The title is called tail because in Korea they say that the "tail is exposed/the fox's tail is exposed" ( Somone's true colors has been exposed) when someone lies and is caught. That's why its starts with a lie detector at the start. She exposes him for killing her and takes her revenge ( tying him up on the train tracks)

In asian mythology the fox has nine tails, and everyone knows that cats have nine lives. The dude kills her in the beginning and she uses her nine lives to get revenge. The girls behind her at 9:23 with their legs in the air represent the nine tails and at 12:19 sunmi's leg is her last tail. The scene of her dressed up in the red leather dress is her disguising herself to get close to him again so she can torture him. i'm guessing the snake ring on the guy also means something but i'm not sure what.
