Finally someone who plays this piece the same way I feel it. Most, including Lang Lang play too fast but I guess to each his own. You also stayed true to the composers written score. I also like the way the left hand melody is projected, often times the busy right hand 16th notes distract our ear from the warm cello-like melody of the left hand. I will recommend your performance to my students for performance interpretation tips.
To each their own indeed I prefer the opening sixteenths to have more movement and be in line with the tempo of the main part I also don’t like it percussive and ‘notey’ and more cantabile
