I am professor of piano and whenever I listen some performance I am listening a details and from a professional side.This time I just couldnt!!! I CRYIED!!!!!HE IS PERFECT!! HE IS SO SENSITIVE!!!! HIS MELODY IS SO GENTLE ,SO SOFT WITH A GOLDEN DUST...........MY CONGRATULATION MISTER LANG!!!

Amazing playing, Lang can play all the difficult fast stuff, but he really enjoys these slow melodies and juicy chord changes, playing it just right and not like a robot. Critics don't like people who stray from the norm, too slow, too fast, too much rubato, etc. Keep going Lang, the Bach is excellent also.

I just finished to study this piece and made a video of it, I'm still memorizing it and just tought: which great pianists had recently made their own on this piano piece?, and found him, it's beautiful just hear those notes revealing the hidden theme inside, I never heard any other pianist achieving such clarity on this, just wonderfull!

He just gets better and better. His subtle touches just makes you emotional.

I've played for 42 years now. A few years ago I realised that how your performance feels to you when you play isn't how it feels to the listener when they hear you indulging yourself! Playing to make others feel something is a gift. It would be wonderful if Lang Lang felt what we feel, but you know, does it matter? You still feel it right? And if you don't, what's wrong with you? :)

Beautiful Lang Lang, I am looking forward to hearing you play the Goldberg Variations next year in Chicago. One of my favorite performances was hearing you play Chopin Concerto in E minor live years ago in Chicago.

Lang Lang's a little arrangement added to performance made the nuance and atmosphere of the performance rich and beautiful. Perhaps because it was an encore performance that was less burdensome, the beauty arising from his freedom (the beauty of freedom / or beauty of relaxation) stood out to a higher level, so from the listener's point of view, I was able to appreciate Lang Lang's beautiful and rich performance, which was immersed in the performance without being rigid and revitalizing the music image. Therefore, the audience would have been able to freely communicate with the pianist Lang Lang's profound dialogue footprints through which he interpreted his rich works. I majored in composition when I was an undergraduate in Korea, and I am Kyoung-hoon Kang, who is currently majoring in music in graduate school. Thank you for your great performance. 랑랑이 연주할 때 가미한 그의 작은 편곡이 연주의 뉘앙스와 분위기를 풍미있고 아름답게 하였다. 그리고 부담이 덜한 앙코르 연주여서 그러한지 그의 여유에서 비롯된 아름다움이(여유의 아름다움) 한 수준 높게 더욱 돋보여서 청자 입장에서는 경직되지 않고 연주에 몰입하여 여유롭게 악상에 생기를 불어넣은 랑랑의 아름답고 풍부한 연주를 감상할 수 있었다. 따라서 청중 역시 피아니스트 랑랑이 그가 풍부한 작품 해석을 해나가는 심오한 대화의 발자국에 거리낌 없이 교감할 수 있었을 것이다. 나는 한국에서 학부 때 작곡을 전공했고, 현재 대학원에서 음악학을 전공하는 강경훈이라고 한다. 좋은 연주를 들려줘서 고맙다.

Lovely romantic piece (though it was not composed in the romantic period) by this important Mexican composer, "strongly influenced by the harmonies and form of traditional songs". Your interpretation is accurate, heartfelt, nostalgic. I find the virtuosic part a little too fast though. I love the purple lights on the stage. Bravo!!

He's a genius on that piano whatever anybody thinks

The problem sometimes, as here, is that music is enough beautiful to be just played naturally, without adding tons of mannerisms and gesticulations. Hope he will see the light with time.
