Warhammer is kept alive by the Fans. I have been a fan since the first edition. When no one knew or cared what it was. We kept GW alive and its mythos. They my have legal rights but they must understand that the heart of Warhammer is with the fans. An Sodaz and other peoples work is what keeps Warhammer alive. Most fans do a better job than GW.
@@maxgregor6858 I know. Ideally it would be a huge military parade on an imperial world showcasing the vast military might of the imperium, thousands of guardsman, astartes, knights, armored divisions, sisters, etc marching past to fanatic cheering crowds. Kind of like something north korea or china would do but 40k style.
@@duxae1617 Yeah I knew what you meant. Your dream come true would be Ullanor victory parade, mayby parade that ended Indomitus crusade. Something like in The Lord Inquisitor but even bigger and much, much longer. Maybe one day.
Not the community, a select few of the minority within the community itself decided to be horrible, no one wanted Sodaz to stop his works or ever considered him a corporate shill of the sort.
@@maxgregor6858 considering how many people still sypport him and wish him well compared to any post that I've ever seen of people still àttacking him I thibki it's safe to say that it's a small part of the community at best.
I only uploaded 3 animations so it wasnt a big deal :D Some people uploaded everything SODAZ made including his "thx for sub" short animation which for me is a bit weird :)
I will forever been left with a hole on my heart. A hole were Doom Slayer and the Grey Knights fight side by side... Why Sodaz! Why????!!!! (Peycheck and a dream come true, I get it, but I wish to see that one more than any other)
It’s Games Workshop. They’re to blame. They’re more greedy than the High Lords of Terra and more paranoid than the Dark Angels. They snatch 40K animators left and right like somebody else is looking to take them. They charge minis at high prices like they’re trying to beat Disney in a race for money! They didn’t offer these animators opportunities. They’re cease and desist orders with extra steps!
Quite neat little detail 1:13 all uniform soldiers, like he copy/pasted the same model over and over But then 1:19 Not uniform, a great way to show all the different space marine armour from over the ages. That some of them have been around for hundreds if not thousands of years.
They took everything, gave nothing (its called Warhammer Plus in this case) and made Halo and other fans happy (because Sodaz is making vids for them now).
@@joshuasitzema9920 As everything its not that simple. I dont see a company taking Krieg for example. For some primitive worlds 1 space marine will be more than enough.
If I had to choose between spending an entire night in bed with the most beautiful girl on the planet or spend just 1 minute in this universe... FOR THE EMPEROR!!!
And for your 1 min you can choose between planet with ongoing Exterminatus, planet with ongoing Tyranid invasion/ork invasion/necron invasion/tau invasion etc. etc.
I hate to break it to you but you will have to wait 10-20 years before I learn to animate like this. The true creator of this masterpiece is SODAZ but he works for Games Workshop now and if you want more then mayby one day you will watch it on Warhammer Plus. By the way if you want some nice animations but not in 40k then check SODAZ, he still got some on his channel.
I use Clones, standard soldiers, gene warriors, and basically what amounts to Tyranids for my army the standard soldiers and gene warriors are human. The clones are a race similar to the Krogan so they make good cannon fodder
A message to all who assaulted Sodaz (I know you are there) : Are you proud of yourselves ? You were soooo frustrated you went as far as crushing his passion for animation. After all the amazing work he entertained us with. After all he contributed to the 40k community. I hope you enjoy the videos that were hacked and put on youtube, because now they won't be any more from him. And it is your fault. You are a disgrace to us. I am but a humble fan, devoided of any power. But know, heretics, that the Emperor will remember this. And so will we.
Ive heard something about it but didnt have time to check what happened. They assaulted SODAZ for what? Not making 40k vids or that deal with GW and never truly happen? Plus I think that probably GW have some part in SODAZ not making 40k staff anymore.
@@maxgregor6858 they harrassed him for accepting GW's offer. Not like he had any choice. It's just GW's corporate greed, so many people became fans because of the stellar animations.
@@bengeorge9063 Well he had a choice, could reject like some did and after all rejected GW. Plus if the deal was good then it was his choice and really nice job for warhammer 40k animator.
@@maxgregor6858 Thats actually what I told him in a video once. That I was sad he was going but if it allowed him to do what he loves then he had my support. It's shameful that a small but very vocal minority destroyed his love for Warhammer.
SODAZ should make his own IP then he won't have to deal with the copyright bullshit. The man has the talent and I have no doubt he could go far with it.
The Original creator aka SODAZ is working for Games Workshop now and part od that dead was removing all warhammer 40k animations from his channel. He is still making animations but not in 40k.
@@maxgregor6858 Why do i get the feeling they got him on the payroll just to not make stuff... GW have been buying up all third party work but not releasing anything other than there declining official crap... of which they have made clear that they want to "Disneyfy"... Get ready for the lore to be rewritten to accommodate SJW's...
@@babalonkie Well we already have black Ultramarines that should not exist because of how geneseed works. As for that whole situation with GW I don't rly know if they remove competition, rly hire or most likely do both. For example Astartes 2 will be available on Warhammer Plus and I believe it's made by the same guy. In some animation trailers I can see other people like Helsreach creator so I guess they are rly working for GW.
@@maxgregor6858 Warhammer+... 50 quid a year for a single miniature, a few white Dwarf issues and access to one animation short per week (The things we had for free)... oh dear lol. I cant remember how much White Dwarf is... but unless it's the same price or more expensive... i don't see a bargain here for anyone other than existing WD subscribers...
@@maxgregor6858 A lot of people are saying Astartes was threatened into joining. He even had to shut down his Patreon and I doubt GW is paying him anything close to what his supporters were before the move.
@@Redman147 Dont know it was his decision. If he decided to join it probably wasnt that bad of a deal. If you are such good animator like him you can work wherever you want or you can change like SODAZ and go for different universe. Plus when you work for somebody you get paid the same amount every month and no shit story like hacking your channel wont happen.
