To you people out there discriminating their pronunciation, Lee Hi was one of EatYourKimchi's Simon's English students back when she wasn't a singer yet, so if you guys still think that a Canadian can't speak decent English, well you're not nasty enough.

i don't get it when people said hayi was lack of emotion, she's one of singer that express the song naturally and different, no overacting and it looks real. i got goosebump to every word she sang and how her eyes expressed about it.

A few times a year I come back to listen to this. Hayi is a gem! She knows how to keep the performance balance with just the right amount of runs and perfect volume to match.
I don't understand why some people keep insulting them with their pronounciation. Koreans speak Korean, not English. Why do you expect Koreans to be fluent in English? Then can you, the ones who kept insulting them with pronounciation, speak/pronounce Korean perfectly? Stop insulting them with things that are not even logical. And also, if you don't like this video, don't watch it. No one is forcing you to watch it and make you write a comment. This is an audition program, don't expect them to sing as perfect as professional artists.

Good music is not bound by language barriers. If it makes you feel something and you love it, that should be enough. It's why I listen to Japanese music, even though I have to look up the lyrics. To write off a singer because of their pronunciation merely shows that that person is narrow-minded and can't appreciate music. What a pity.
She shines in collabs, where she can have freedom harmonizing and with adlibs. Can't wait to see her in a couple years, establishing herself and finding her niche
