Does Henry purposely choose songs which make the females sound like the original singers of the song they cover? Cause first Jiyoung sounded like Ariana Grande singing Stuck with You and now Lee Hi sounded like Meghan Trainor in this one 😍😌 Like yes, Henry sweetie, keep up the good work and continue making your covers sound better than the original
I think Meghan and Lee Hi kind of different though although both have no problem with higher note, Lee Hi sound more deep with her higher note than Megan, if yo hear on the back ground Meghan sang in her higher note that sound different with Lee hi #imho. But 3 of them (Lee hi, Henry and Meghan ) have an amazing voice and that's for sure !!!
that is what a good singer does. they choose songs that best fits their voice. lee hi's voice suits songs by adele, meghan, jessie J, dua lipa, katy perry, and lady gaga. Songs by ariana grande or halsey would not be the best for her since lee hi is an alto and her voice is deeper and more soulful.

She won some big awards even if having only few comebacks. She won bonsangs during her Seoulite era and Holo era. Bonsang awards counts streams, downloads and unique listeners from general public (basically nationwide). She does well as an organic soloist even when the competition is very tough because there are so many groups and other established artists as well, considering she was not that active for most time she gives a big enough presence when she's active. As for music shows, those are awards shows too but smaller awards compared to bonsangs. Music shows are usually won with several criteria but especially with a help of a big supportive fandom, not the general public because gp doesn't go out their way just to vote, so leehi won number 1s in music shows but not so much because her fandom has fewer people and she rarely did a cb, her latest release was just a single too and had a 1 year gap since her last album.
@@jackiefernandez6083 I know she won some. But she's not as popular as IU or Chungha, despite Lee hi's talent is so great. And other celebrities/idol sometimes didn't pay her a respect.
@@user-kx9qr5ph8w again, it's because she's a lot less active compared to IU and chungha ever were. IU is doing well for a long time as a solo, and chungha is active releasing comebacks while leehi was in the dungeon for 3 years each hiatus. I think the fact that chungha also came from a very popular idol show and then debuted a lot later than leehi, makes a difference, like that makes her more known to new fans and idols. Whilst Leehi debuted borderline 2nd and 3rd gen era, and went to a long hiatus. During her time in yg, newbies were quite clueless about her during her comeback, but now after releasing Holo and being part of popular show begin again there are a lot of younger gen and even older artists/celebs/idols realizing and voicing out their love for her and her songs or how she is their role model artist. All of those praises didn't happen so much when she was in yg because she was so hidden. If I have to talk about who gave her attention and big praises while she was hidden in the dungeon, it weren't a long list of idols/celebs or even new fans, but mostly the producers and co artists who worked with her in the flesh like Dean, Jonghyun, EpikHigh, ... More of the high level artists in Korea . If we talk about Leehi's impact now, she did quite a stir with Holo, a single, if she comes back with a full album I think the response will probably be better. Although, she did point it out in one of her interviews that her priority right now is to make honest music rather than aiming for big impact. So let's wait and see what kind of music she will bring out and how it will fare once released and promoted.
Henry, among the female singers you have worked with, I think Lee Hi works best with you, and her voice is very close to you🥰🥰🥰🥰, I hope you will have more opportunities for cooperation in the future🙌🙌🙌🙌
Why aren't these two more well-known? Their voices are beautiful. I find there are so many talented singers/musicians on RU-vid, but do not get any radio airtime or charting. When I listen to what's out there on billboard charts or on radio, I have to wonder if people even know what good music sounds like anymore.

I don't know how they got this good quality, but I'm sure it's no studio recording. You can recognize henry sang wrong lyrics 1-2 times in this video. If this was studio recorded why would he sang wrong lyrics? And his singing, i mean the sound, fits his facial express, for example when he sings with a smile, you can hear the sound also has some smile. Here he sings so freely and lip sync would be very hard thing, i think
