From what I understood, when they got back, the window was open and the pages of the story she wrote were flying all over the place, which means the pages where there when the window was closed or else they would’ve put something on it or something, WHICH MEANS someone opened the window, and the only person in the room was dokja, so I’ll say yes, it worked, now the rest of the story is up to us, the readers, to imagine

going to rant about this because i must or i will combust. so first of all the song fits so well omg. The white crow being dokja feels to me like Dokja putting all this weight on his shoulders when he finds out that the novel became a reality. At the beginning he worries about good or bad, in the subway he tries and fails to protect the old lady and it deeply affects him. Then we have Yoo Jonghyuk, at first i thought it was the amount of times he had to see Dokja leave/die but it's actually about the regressions and once again it surprises me how much the song fits all of these characters!. It shows so beautifully his entire journey and growth throughout his regressions, the way he detaches himself from everything and everyone so that he could progress, not to mention the part with sooyoung and dokja, it's so painful to compare the time they had together to the regressions because truly it was nothing more than the blink of an eye in his perception. ALSO "it ended so suddenly you couldn't say goodbye to me" this is absolutely about the 0th turn. I like the detail with the kkoma joonghyuks because yes! we often forget how much he had to change in his regression, we gloss over the fact that there's not such a thing as just one yoo joognhyuk, he's more of the combination of the many of him. Dokja leaving to help on the 1863rd regression is such a bittersweet moment haha but it is true, it did need him until the end. I'm also in love with all of the parallels between Dokja and Han Sooyoung from the 1863rd turn and you depict it in such a simple way it's so charming!. When i read "the world is the same without me" and saw Dokja's face i felt like jumping out the window, punching him on the face, and crying on the floor all at the same time it was wild, the expression change was the nail on the coffin it made me feel physical pain. The day Dokja realizes there are people who love himnis the day i die. This next part is a bit confusing to me, it's all the parental figures he has? i get the first part being his father and relatives mistreating him but not the part with Persephone and Hades, is that them trying to take off the pressure that the "white crow" gave him?. Maybe it's them trying to get Dokja to rely more on his new parents (tears). And in the most classical Dokja fashion he disregards their efforts and insists on taking the responsability for everyone's well being. But this is not what he wants, what he truly wants is a mistery even to himself, he tries so hard to forget the fact that this role is not his to take but when he can no longer evade it he crumbles and falls apart. You'd think that he learned his lesson but immediatly after he runs away and sacrifices himself for others. Writting this i realize just how much Dokja feels responsible for the world, how he is constantly putting something else over him, and i wonder why that is. Again i'm unsure as to what the deeper meaning is with Han Sooyoung thinking the world is the same without her, my best guess is that it's another parallel with Dokja but i don't want to put her complex story and relate it to someone else. Perhaps this is about how she lacks sincere people around her and would do all kinds of things to guarantee their safety. "The crows were both myself" they were both things that Dokja wanted, though different parts of himself yearned for different things. I enjoyed this video so much and i can feel just how passionate you are about the story, thank you so much for taking the time to make this!!

In my opinion, the ending of ORV makes me believe Dokja won’t wake up as we read this story, I feel as though there is still 1% missing which is why we as readers have to fill in that role. I know this is just me being a conspiracy idiot but that’s what I believe in my heart, the ending isn’t happy.

No matter how much I think about it. 99% is only saved and the 1% missing is the readers and not all readers think its happpy ending thats why no matter what I like, Dokja will never be fully comeback. Han Sooyoung at the end when Dokja’s fable coming back maybe pertaining to Yoo Joonghyuk’s success in distributing the story and not Dokja coming back.
I agree with that. But if so, why Kim Dokja Story begin again & Yoo Joonghyuk come back to 1864th in the promised day. So I think, Kim Dokja does come back. But, he will also home someday or he will periodicaly gone from his friend. It also can be, Kim Dokja really come back 100% because we (reader) that mau be not Kim Dokja, choose to become new Oldest Dream to giving back Kim Dokja to his friend and got happiness, because at the beginning story in volume 1, if I not wrong, Kim Dokja said he want to see ending where the protagonist happy with all his friend (but Kim Dokja was the protagonist now and the original protagonist/Yoo Joonghyuk see Kim Dokja as his friend). So, there a posibility Kim Dokja become 100% as long as Yoo Joonghyuk & co. want Kim Dokja. Han Sooyoung also said she going to make side story of their friend for Kim Dokja. My Theory about the promised day was strong because Kim Dokja once dreaming drink tea with all his friend on big house living together & seeing the children graduate. In the dream, he was happy. This scene come out at the part when Kim Dokja get kidnapped by his friend after saved him from Secretive Plotter & Uriel 999th then got sub scenario to hear bis friend complaint before picnic come to end (before Last Scenario come & they go to save Lee Hyunsung in Oz). Fortunately, we got side story now. But I not reading it yet. So, I don't know my Theory of the promised day is true or not.
