as a webtoon only reader it scares me how at the start it all made sense, until i reached a point that hasn't been adapted yet and i was SO CONFUSED

But all jokes aside, tho. The relationship with the two main guys is one of the greatest friendships I've ever read in fiction. And each character is really complex. Go read it 10/10

I watched this video and figured the creator just exaggerated the story plot. Then I read the comments and learned it’s apparently the same? And then I read the webtoons… and it’s EXACTLY THE SAME. Never read Omniscient Reader but I relate to Kim Dokja, if I had nothing better left to read I would also kickstart the apocalypse.

I love how ORV readers know what happens at the end of the book before they're even at chapter 100

ORV is the one of the only stories where you can actively spoil yourself on every single thing to happen and still not know what the hell happens in the future because absolutely NOTHING MAKES SENSE.

This web novel constantly raises the struggle "too dumb to understand" vs "too curious about what happens next" in me

Every time i finish reading an arc in ORV i come back to this video and think to myself "man, i though it was a joke, but this actually happened"

The funniest thing that is implied in the end is that whoever observes the story becomes the MAD so in turn become a part of Dokja. This means that all of us did had a hand in kickstarting the apocalypse which I feel is really something I might do

The friendship and platonic love in this book are really sad and beautiful

This is an art form, frankly. I'm amazed at how it manages to tell you absolutely everything and absolutely nothing at the same time.

I've been reading the webtoon version, and you should've seen the horror on my face when I realised how "early" in the video the webtoon has gotten. Oh boy. There is clearly so much to come. Oh boy. Maybe I should try out the novel.

At this point I legitimately believe this novel is just impossible to be spoiled, like I even went to the wiki to check the ending of the story and still have zero idea whatever the fuck anything is.

so what i understand as a person who didnt read the book is; one of the protagonists is called kim dokja and he likes squids (or maybe he dont idk) other protagonist is called yoo joonghyuk and he likes kim dokaja

You could watch this video knowing nothing of the story. You could watch this video having read the whole story. But I'm here having read half of the book, both confused out of my mind and yet still feeling like it all makes sense somehow.

Literally because of this video, I read the entire novel in two weeks and now I am traumatized, emotionally drained, and tired from staying up till 3 am everyday. All that, a solid 20/10. Never have I ever watched a video that made so little sense when it got to parts I have yet to read but as soon I read it, it all made sense.

Im not a fan of light novel, only read manga and never heard anything about omniscient reader so i have no idea what is this video is talking about. I remember clicked on this bcs of curiosity and cute chibi art style, i was so confused like "*what the heck is happening right now, why the main character sacrifice himself so many times but actually likes it?*" My brain got hurt cause there are so many loops, timelines and **copy paste** thingies?? going on, i don't understand half of the video at all. It made me interested and decided to read the novel instead just to understand the plot more, then after i reached the final end, i went back to this video and cries like an **ugly squid** The first novel that brought me such an amazing experience, the more i understand the story, the more i love Kim Dokja and his friends, his journey from the beginning till the end. Right now im still thinking about it, damn it, *the author surely knows how to KILL ME WITH THE 51% !!!! WHY THAT DAMN 51% !!!!!!*

As someone who hasn't read the novel completely it took me off guard how fucking ridiculous this all started sounded the moment you started explaining a part of the story I hadn't reached yet

I haven't laughed this hard in ages. I once tried explaining ORV to a friend and ended up making her brain dead for an hour. ORV without context honestly feels like a fever dream. It's a miracle I understood the video even though I read the novel since you made it sound so silly. The novel is a masterpiece and the webtoon adaptation will hopefully turn out to be one. I would totally recommend it to anyone with patience.

I'm a novel reader and i can tell you that this is 100% accurate. I was confused at first when i watched this while i was a webtoon only and now i just laugh how accurate this is.

I have read like 100 chapters, so the first 1 and a half minutes of this video made sense, the other half made me scared for what is to come.

this actually convinced me to read ORV and it was totally worth it.

I just read the epilogue (ch.551) and I'm crying. I'm so glad I came across this video and then orv. I'm so glad I read it because it is a masterpiece. I loved reading it and wondering when the events of this video would happen. 'Will he really turn into a squid??' So many times when I read orv I remembered this video but the best part was that I didn't remember the end. I knew only fragments if the story and it was so satisfying when it all came together and i absolutely loved the plot twists and connections and the idea that this universe began from the end and that the first chapter was the one to be finished last. When I first started I was pretty overwhelmed by the 551 chapters but now I think it went by way too quick. Especially since orv is so good that not once did I get bored while reading. I never got tired of the story and always wondered what would happen next. I'm honestly left quite empty now that this story is over and idrk what to do now but i am forever grateful to you who made this video and let me witness such beautiful novel. Now I'm gonna go back to crying again Edit: Orv is the kind of novel where it's perfectly fine to spoiler someone because it wouldn't make any sense to them whatsoever until they've read it
