Jungkook does love pop music, but he does many styles of music right now during his solo project, he is experimenting with many styles, not unlike BTS and how they do music. He is the main vocalist for BTS, and part of the dance line, as well as having rap background as well. He's a very versatile artist.
I would say jungkook is the most "pop" out of all the bts guys, but he can easily adapt to any genre, you'll get to see his many many talents in the intro guide hahah, but yeah, this song is a bit different from his previous releases but it definitely has his essence, in my opinion n.n can't wait to follow you on your bts journey! :D

Thank you very much, I really appreciate that. Yea up until two months ago I actually only listened to the girl groups. Blackpink's debut and the redebut of Minx as Dreamcatcher got me hooked back in 2016/17.... I have always had more emotional connection to female voices. I often can't "feel" a guy singing. For some it is the exact opposite... So yea, I heard boy groups before on several playlists throughout daily listening, never skipped the songs but never checked who it was. the only boy group songs I really skipped were the ones with too much high register or falsetto voices... I can't really handle men singing like that. I like a male voice in the mid register and sometimes going higher or lower.... Jung Kook had a nice mix of ups and downs... so it was cool. And since I am really honest about what I like or not.. I say that in the videos too... I get bashed for it and... yes the world keeps on turning :) I received quite the backlash for not liking Changsub's voice in the BTOB killing voice.... but I'd rather be real than say awesome to everything just for the clicks..... so be warned :) Thanks for being here! @@NeonReactionsPierreAs someone who's very much about the tone of a voice I get that. For me it's the opposite though, I can't relate to most female voices (Reba rocks though 😁). However, BTS has a huge variety of tones between them and generally quite a high tone in their songs. My personal bias is Jin whose voice cuts really clear when he belts but then you also have Jimin's high pitched voice, Jungkook's midranged amazing ad libs and V's smooth baritone. 71 year old BTS Army here. The "J" is pronounced like a "J". Jung Kook is the Main vocalist of BTS. They have all been doing solo work before they enlist for 18 months of mandatory service in the S. Korean military. 3 are already serving and the last 4 (including JK) will enlist by the end of Dec in order to reunite as BTS in 2025. They have all renewed their contracts. To me, this song has Michael Jackson and Bruno Mars all over it and definitely '80s retro funk! This is not Kpop. It was an all American production like his previous two solo singles. It was written and by Grammy winner Andrew Watt, John Bellion, and two others. It was produced in L.A. by Watt and Cirkut. He has released two other singles starting in July. "Seven Feat Latto" which was just certified Platinum, and "3D Feat Jack Harlow". Both are mega hits and different from each other. "Seven" was also written and produced by Grammy winner Andrew Watt and Cirkut and it was the fastest song in history to achieve 1 Billion streams on Spotify, 108 days. @@crazylittlebigthings He is actually 26, born in 1997. Their new contract that starts when they return from the military, is for 7 years. (They can't be under contract to a private company while under contract to the military.) If he enlists four years from now, just before he turns 30, it will split up BTS. He would NEVER in a million years do that. The law says they must enlist before they turn 30. JK said he will gradually start cutting his hair shorter and shorter before enlistment and that is exactly what he has been doing. 💜

The label has said that all seven will announce their military enlistment plans by the end of this year, and that all seven will complete their service in time to regroup in 2025. They have said it more than once. JK also said he will be joining Jin in the military, during a Weverse live that Jin commented in a couple of months ago, and in response to Jin…and he also said he “needs to do it soon.” If you aren’t aware of this, I’d like to suggest you make sure to listen to trusted sources - BTS, JK himself, and their label. BTS is known for their diversity in music and live performances. So there’s no particular style or genre. They can do it all. And it’s rare for musicians to be better live then in studio. That says a lot about their artistry. Whatever song you decide to react to, please check to see if there’s a live performance and react to both the official mv as well as live to get the full experience
If you are a music lover, you will LOVEE BTS. They did almost every genre of music so u can bet there will be multiple things to like. Whether it is a group, sub-unit or individual song, you will always hear genuene music.
11:11 Jungkook has always been a fan of pop music and his style has been heavily inspired by american pop artists, so you will def hear it if you listen to the album, but this disco funk genre? Not his usual style but he delivered it AMAZINGLY!! And I think it fits him so well too! Other disco songs they did as a group are their english singles Dynamite and Butter, but they are not as funky as Standing next to you! I recommend you listen to this amazing group! Their variety of genre is honestly insane!
Bangtan 7 guide is a great way to start! You’ll soon find that BTS has done all sorts of genres. That’s one of their strengths 💜. Besides that, their lyricism, dedication, humbleness and love for one another and their fans, ARMY, are why we love the boys so much.
The thing is USA RADIO stations doesn’t play it in their local radio stations though the music is cool and really loved globally. USA radio stations usually refused to play Asian singers song like BTS. It’s tough
I don’t think anyone in BTS has one single style of music that they put out. They have their own preferences but professionally, they have always released different sounding songs. However, the way they do it is so BTS. They take on a new challenge in each release, conquer it, and rise to new heights. Celebrate. And repeat. This is how they grow as artists and why ARMY love them so much.
Jungkook don't have a specific style he loves pop music but he tries every genre and he changes his voice depends on the genre I just love his voice it brings me joy when I listen to him

BTS represents over 50 % of a K Pop market populated by quite a few talented groups. There is a reason. As the most popular and arguably the musically diverse group on earth which plays football stadiums I think you might explore BTS a bit. They are extremely polished and have well over 300 tracks, the majority of them written and produced in house. Jungkook who was already quite accomplished as the center vocalist of BTS acts currently is breaking ground with his all-English Golden album. He and all of the seven uniquely talented decided to do solo projects prior to military enlistment with the goal of returning as a group when all will have finished their service.
I was always surprised that you never dabbled in BTS! My suggestion is to listen to Euphoria, solo by Jungkook, and his album - it has a lot of songs I think you'll really enjoy, lots of poppy and vocal performance songs.
You'll be blown away by BTS and the members as the solo artists. If you wanna continue with this journey, I recommend watching Taylor's guide to BTS. You'll understand more and I also recommend songs like: pied piper(live perf), magic shop, mikrokosmos(live) and if you like rap, (ugh, cypher 3-4, run BTS)... There's so much for you to explore so I hope you'll look into it:) I can also help if you have any questions..

I always love to watch a reactor that feels that maybe an artist or song may not be their vibe, only to be pleasantly surprised. If you like the music, you should hear the live band on his iheartradio live performance. They were going at it, which gave JK a lot of energy. You could just see it.
@NeonReactionsPierre Certain high notes hurt my ears, which means I usually listen to male singers or women with a deeper tone in their voice. I miss out on alot of girl groups because of it. But, it's also a preference. When JK sings 'moon', it does hurt. But totally worth it for such a bangin' song. 😃

I didn't listen to music much at all for years. But I discovered BTS through Namjoon's 'Love yourself, speak yourself' speech at the UN and now BTS are my daily companions. Their music is great but it's the lyrics that have kept me coming back time and again. Especially Suga who is one of the rappers in the group. Yes it is best to finish whatever else you need to do before diving into BTS because advance warning...with their 300+ discography and numerous genres, you may have a difficult time getting out once you begin listening to them. Good luck and hope to listen to more of your BTS reactions soon. The Guide to the Bangtan 7 by Taylor Mari is a great place to start as it gives you a picture of how they began as rookies from a small company who had to work their way up. It also introduces each member and has snippets of several of their songs that give you an idea of their work. Another guide by xCeleste (BTS Hardships 2013-2021) will show you it was not an easy climb to stardom. In fact, they were very much belittled and hated on when people in their industry saw how amazing they were and felt somewhat threatened. 💜

JK, as well as BTS, explores many different genres and all members have completely different styles. Since you like old style music, I suggest you check "Like crazy" from Jimin and "Love me again" from V. These songs will also let you see how unique each of their voices are 😉

You may want a pen and pad to take notes when you watch the guide. Taylor puts clips of a lot of songs in the guide and most people watching the guide find a few songs that they want to hear the full song, so you may want to write down the names of the songs. Since you liked V and JungKook you will like the other vocalists in BTS jimin and Jin and BTS as a group. They are amazing. If you enjoy rap they have some of the best rappers in the game. Amazing group. Together they will blow you away. I think you will like still with you by jungkook

BTS has a lot of songs like that one, and more.. BTS doesn't have a genre, they are the genre. They can mix genres and use another one in another song that's totally different. And they have been doing it for their group songs, solos and performances for 10 years since 2013. There's a reason why they are the biggest group in the planet since "The Beatles"

Stray Kids are 4th Gen Leaders, no one comes close in my opinion. BTS are 3rd Gen Leaders, again, no one comes close. Both groups respect each other immensely even if their fandoms don't always. During a live Chan has had to say he appreciated people defending them but you don't do it by trying to drag down others. He said come on STAY, you are better than that. IMHO if you do the opposite of what your leader says, then you are not a real fan, just a toxic person.
