It must be said that Jungkook made a worthy tribute to Michael Jackson without losing his own identity and style, without any intention of imitating. This is really admirable! This performance by Jk is absolutely SPECTACULAR. The video, the musical composition, the staging Jk's beaitiful voice, the choreography and the power of his dance. Bravo Jeeekeeeiiii!

Jungkook and BTS have great respect and respect for Michael Jackson. They even have a recording of the song Dynamite commemorating the anniversary of Jackson's death. And in this song, Jungkook made a lot of references to him in the choreography. But when one day in an interview someone from BTS compared them to the Beatles, he replied that it was flattering to hear, but they are not the Beatles, but BTS and would like to continue to remain BTS.

Fun fact... This song is produced by same producers of "seven" . Jk said yesterday in an interview after he record seven, he ask them if they had more songs. he was seing some, and felt in love by this one, he recorded it, with them in the very next day, like he literally had one day to study the song, he record it in 4h... And this came out....another legend is born for sure... And yes it feel like MJ is reborn...

JK is the main vocalist of the group of young men that all of them can sing as you see from their solo performances breaking records even ones set by them. He is definitely sounding like MJ which is a huge compliment. JK is my bias from way back. I’ve always said he could sing the abcs and it would be a hit. BTS has always loved MJ and they did homage to him in their 3020 performance at end of year. I’m loving every single song on this GOLDEN disc. 💜💜💜💜

I think maybe a lot of younger fans (not all of them of course) don't know of just how good MJ was as an artist... a lot of people only know of the controversy that surrounded him... his catalogue was so diverse and extensive, it kind of reminds me of the BTS catalogue (which is nowhere near finished I might add !)... anyone who hasn't seen the Superbowl half time show that Michael did should do themselves a favour and check it out... an entire stadium cheering for over five minutes without him actually uttering a word is only a slight peek into just how huge he was... such a talented human... Hi, I agreed to all of your comments in JK work with this song and MV. I commented in their channel by saying the King Of Pop, and clearly because I am an old soul and I knew how great the king of pop was and I said JK is the new hope in this era. It's nothing like comparing but really be proud of Jungkook on how he really nailed it to bring the pop vibe when it was in its peak moment, and make it into his own. That's crazily respected!. Basically the K pop idols really shown that they are learning from the great past when MJ shone. So, I have to say it again in your channel, I agreed to the idea of respecting JK now as next best thing in POP music around the world. Comparing him to MJ is of course a huge compliment! And everything about this song and video/ these visuals screams MJ. They went for it, they chose to hommage MJ, so complimenting that is simply realising JK's intentions. Also, this is not a copy. I see it like this, that in this album, JK experimented with many styles he loves and is building his solo persona. He's young and full of energy, his heart probably bursts at all the options he has. So he draws from all those things and just celebrates the artistry - of himself as well as his inspirations. And that is 100% amazing and fine by me. He's having fun, we're having fun and on a level not many people are able to create. That is unique and infectious. Simply YES, 100x YES, JK.

JK would totally take that as a compliment - He constantly channels MJ - Even when he's goofing around he does MJ poses- I think MJ would have loved JK cos he would have seen this mans talent- they both centre of their groups, both started at such a young age, both shy off camera , both own the stage and have huge presence. Both perfect pitch (yes JK has perfect pitch), both vocal kings with incredible falsettos, both amazing dancers. There will never be another MJ but I think JK comes pretty close

I just clicked on your video not expecting that I would realize something big. When you mentioned about greatness and how it pertains to MJ and now JK makes so much more sense. It IS the biggest compliment an artist can receive especially someone like JK who aspires to be great. But maybe in the future, he can become his own icon as well. One that when people hear his name, they will think of someone unique, with his own mark and identity. 😊

I was watching the show with Suga and JK (Suchwita 21) and JK said that after he recorded Seven, before he left the studio the producer (Andrew Watt I think) said ‘You want to take a listen to a couple songs I’ve been working on?’ And JK said yes. Loved the second song, which was Standing Next To You, said he would work on it that night, and came the next day and recorded it. So JK went from hearing the song for the first time to recording it in less than 24 hours. Andrew Watt killed it too. What a great song he wrote. 👏 👏👏 Also, I absolutely hear Regulate, Nate Doggs part in that one part of this song. Bass line also reminds me of Rappers Delight by Sugarhill Gang.

YEASSSS you heard Regulate---I am not remembering if you watched American Hustle Life or not but they had a mission with Warren G to write their on lyrics to Regulate...so this is kind of like a full circle moment.. Thank you, that familiar melody was driving me nuts trying to remember where l had heard it. BTS did a show called American Hustle Life where they went LA In 2014 ,to be tutored in hip hop music. One of the tutors was Warren G who asked them to write lyrics to Regulate. They were in three teams and did great, they also performed their version at a small concert that they had to plan and organise themselves.
