I Truly appreciate your reactions and your kind words about Jimin. It feels good to hear someone talking about his talent because he receives so much unnecessary hate
"People are going to talk about him, even when I'm dead". This thought gave me goosebumps. I really, really wish that after decades and decades, when there's no longer any army alive nor is bts here in the world, people will keep remembering jimin and bts as the legends they are, that they will be remebered forever in the history, not just because of how amazing performers and artists they are, but because of how genuinly inspirational they're as humans, too, and how they've changed the world for the better and healed millions of people all around the world with their music, messages and lyrics. Jimin is so freaking harworking it's crazy. He's the hardest on himself and his first judge, and despite all the hardships he's gone through, he's kept going and proving that he is trully an artist of a kind and that he deserves the positicon, love and respect he has now.
Jimin is a perfectionist and every member has said he is the hardest worker. This isn't the first time the director has given the okay and Jimin has asked to do it again. His Black Swan solo part the same thing happened. He expects a lot from himself, sometimes too much, but he's worked hard to find a healthy balance and in recent years has really learned to truly love himself despite his perceived faults. It's just one of the many reasons I adore him and I'm so proud of him.
Jimin is a visionary and a genius. This is his solo debut and it's already big scale and on par with BTS's group releases. The cinematics of the choreography, the imagery, the concept of panopticon, the german poem, the way the choreo almost "acts out" what the song says.. he's in a league of his own. Not just music and performance wise but he went all out with planning the promo schedule as well : from giving the fans a proper schedule to attending music shows and debuting the title track in the US, I couldn't be more proud of him and the artist he's become. No one in the kpop industry is doing it like him and this is a not an opinion but a fact. This pre release song alone shook fans and non-fans alike, he's yet to show the world everything he's capable of and I'm more than ready :)
Jimin has such a soothing calming energy to him, the way he speaks and acts is so relaxing to listen to and watch, then he can just switch and go nuts 😮❤ thanks for your reaction!!
don't feel bad we all have been repeating 'set me free' for hours and days, like we are addicted to it, lol. thank you for going to do a jimin marathon [analytics]. that head shake was short but had an impact too. jimin is a perfectionist so i bet the dancers practiced like crazy for hours and days. jimin has several solo performance but none on the scale of this one. once you jimin you can't jim out💜
I agree Pat, his dancers are fans as well. And that has to be my favorite part of this video, where his dancers react to him and then he reacts to them. It's such a cute little exchange. I rewind that part often. I just found you like last week and I'm binge watching all your videos. Jimin is like many of us Endomorphs, he gains weight easily. He actually is dieting again for this ... 50kgs (110lbs) is SMALL for a 5'8 man. So he was eating like one meal a day again. He was saying... he dreams about what he'd like to eat. When I saw that I was so saddened. Jin is only 60-61kg right before the miliary and thats only 132lbs for a man who is 5'10.5 tall.
It’s okay…we understand the total infatuation - the pausing! Nobody really comments but the head shake @ 5:54 is epic! And yes, with 8 years of various martial arts expertise, including a black belt in Taekwondo, he CAN kick someone’s (anyone’s) ass!!! LOL But seriously, Jimin has been the underdog, the most ridiculed for 10 years - since the beginning - and it’s his turn to shine and show what he’s capable of! In my view, he IS the most unique and he WILL be the one they talk about for many years to come!💜🐥👑👼🏻

I think Jimin had the talent to go solo years ago. Initially he was really popular when the group debuted and kept getting popular as he revealed more of his talents. I believe the company did not want anyone going solo back then so he missed out on so much. If he was not in a group, I believe Jimin would be a legendary solo artist by now. Fortunately for them he loves being a part of BTS.
