THIS WAS SO GOOD. IVE BEEN WAKTING TO SEE SOMETHING LIKE THIS FROM JIMIN AND I LOVE IT. also is it just me or do i feel like the weeknd would fit so good on a track like this????
What you said is literally words I was trying to put into. He’s like a Siren or a Fairy that’s trying to enchant/hypnotize you into this feeling or elevated mental atmosphere. Certain idols like Jimin, Rosé, Seulgi, etc can only do that to me.
there's something about this song that is so ominous yet vibey. like, it has that dark side to it. set me free wasn't really my style but this is definitely making me look forward to the rest of the album. and the DESIGN... the whole thing fit him so perfectly and I love the mullet on him. ICONIC i am at a loss for words on this one.
I know 80s when I hear it and this was 💯 80s vibe (80s mullet) with Jimin’s special twist on it! Another masterpiece! Beautiful, honey sweet voice!!!! Love him so much!!!💜👼🏻🐥👑
it's already playing in clubs as saw it hit the news & showed it playing (whoa that was fast ... some clubs have big screens showcasing latest music videos out) ...as for the MV, I actually got impression that he was dreaming of going to a club & saying let's go ... and you can give me a ride & we can have a good time... but reality it's a dream he wishes was true. It's beautifully sad. Makes me want to reach thru the screen & give him hugs. Just how I saw this MV plus I heard longing in the audio when listening. Grabbed at my heart.
@@purplesky4763 we don't need a hater opinions like what jimin say to the hater like you "shut up fu* off" if you don't have a taste in music don't come and share your opinion the songs and album break record
I love how jimins voice just caresses the ear, like a fairytale being spoken into the ear, but its dark too. His music always feels like an experience every time, always taking us to where he wants us to be. THIS M/V was over a few minutes long but it feels like its only 30 seconds. I've never felt so enchanted by a song, then again i don't expect any less from jimin. he's an angel. I'm always seeing so much in his eyes jesus. feels crazy. (lol)
everything you said was so accurate!! I see the weekend comparisons but jimin’s delivery is so different. There’s a sexy desperation to jimin’s voice 😵💫😫 where I think the weekend voice can be sexy but cold! ( this is not a negative thing of course!!)
SUCH A GOOD SONG. like so so good, im literally fighting the urge to keep replaying it and the album was a 10/10. im surprised and not surprised at the same time. its too too good and youre right, it sounds chic and very expensive
OMGAAAAAAAAAAD just when I think NOTHING COULD SHOCK ME more than Set Me Free Pt. 2, THIS PIECE OF..OF... I DONT EVEN FXXKING KNOW HOW TO DESCRIBE THIS!!!!! THIS IS PURE ART!!!! THIS IS A MASTERPIECE!!!! THIS IS THE BEST SONG AND MV IN THIS ENTIRE UNIVERSE AND NOTHING NOTHING NOTHING IN THE NEXT 5000 YEARS COULD COMPETE WITH THIS PERIOD NOW I CANNT CHOOSE WHICH ONE I WANT TO PLAY IN MY FUNERAL CEREMONY ON REPEAT!!!
This song sounds like a dark fairy tale. your voice sounds like a whisper making you go somewhere. it's like a dream, but again like you're using substances. you kinda start to feel a little bit of what jimin wants us to feel. that girl, once they meet in the middle, all the half-stop shots look like we see him through that girl's eyes. and at the end he looks as the camera pans around, it's like we're spinning too but looking at him as he says "I need a way we can dream". and he looks down again like he can't find a way and it hurts him to the core. it's just not a new thought for him to cry over, just to accept that he'll keep trying. he looks at the camera often but looks different when we see the girl is nearby. it seems that he is talking to us/her. But it's like he's trying to tell us something that's hard to explain, but he does. he'd rather be outside than feel the sad emotions sober. Jimin said something about the album expressing the feelings he felt during the pandemic in chronological order. in a sense it involves the army, bts or jimin himself all at once. it was always about us, emotions confirm how he must have felt all this time. the "forever you and me" is always in the background at different times, only softly if you listen carefully. some things I still can't fully explain but it's not just us but Jimin himself, always striving for perfection but all things considered seems out of reach. the "alone again... what's the point" is so painful because he can really feel it. as if he gives up for a moment, or goes back to being sad and sober, no longer in the club where he can forget in the company of his friends, fans, etc. there's so much I want to explain, but there are some things I can't connect or explain yet. regardless, this M/V was profound. between sad and the sudden sound change slowly relieves you of the sadness and distracts you, until you are alone again, then it starts. no wonder he doesn't want to go away or be saved. he wants to live in that moment when everything is temporarily fine. the bathroom scene reminds me of movies where the party is outside and the bathrooms are where you will cry and think and reflect and drown before you go out again and forget. you want to forget, but you occasionally remember, leading you to go back and forget AGAIN. the sadness being an incentive factor to go out and party, not sober up and just enjoy the lights, completely lost. BETWEEN A MIX OF FICTION AND STRONG REALITIES. ANOTHER WORK OF ART BY THIS THINKING BEING. APPLAUSE.👏👏👏❤
Please request it on American radio and ask others to request, we need you! The song will never got recognition without your help! And you are the one who makes reactions on kpop, let’s do it together! Pay jimin back please 🙏
This song is so amazing, makes me wanna party and I love him💜Please react to the whole album! Each song and read the lyrics all relate with each other and it is just a masterpiece. I’m so proud of him and the article in rolling stone was great
Jimin must have been inspired to write lyrics and references that makes him feel extremely comfortable and excited to perform the song live an promote it on tour
I absolutely love this song, but I cannot feel overwhelmed by emotions with the lyrics, maybe because to an extent, I can understand, trying to run away from reality??
Anthony you took the words right outta my mouth! It does give off synth pop abel, but there’s a sense of chic-ness and intentional elegance in jimin's intention that makes it so…HIM. And the clothes?? It’s like the song reflects the vibes of the clothing worn in the music video and vice versa. everything about it I’m here for- SOTY indeed. Like you said, I love when the boys constantly switch the vibes up for their title tracks and this one is no exception. Couldn’t be happier with this insane 3 MINUTES+ SONG (thank you bts for bringing back songs longer than 2mins fr) Looking forward to your album/ep review too !!!
funny you mentioned the weeknd because this song and the video reminded me of him in some ways, the transitions (when jimin is in the bathroom, the weeknd did that in his performances), the black liquid coming down the walls (reminds me of abel's vevo performance) and actually the production too... but I absolutely love it since both of them are my faves
I totally know what you mean when comparing Like Crazy to The Weekend. I was thinking the word you were going to use was it has an elegance or maybe glamor and simultaneous stripped down vibe, a softness! that The Weekend's take on the synth pop/synth wave sound doesn't have. The Weekend's take on this sound, has a bit more of a darkness and more edge to it because of the underlying story he's telling in his material. I also imagine that maybe during the process of making his album, with Like Crazy, i wonder if part of the inspiration for the sound was if Jimin or someone on the production team heard iKon's "But You" and were really inspired. Because this song very much sounds like a spiritual companion song to that song in terms of it's sound.
The song is inpiered by jimins favorite movie Like Crazy. The song is not a happy party song you can see that at the end. I think it ties to his depression that is what set me free is about.
Yes! I actually see him collab w theweeknd and someone w a deeper voice. Not that he needs to collab, but just bcuz you mentioned it😅 stream FACE you guys😘
its supposed to be based on the notebook (im also assuming that the sampled lines at the start and end are from the movie) ive never seen it so i havent really figured the mv story fav of the album for sure tho and then probably face-off, the clown music at the start really got me, jimin comedy genius 🤷♀
I thought so too at first, but the movie it's based on is also called Like Crazy :) And the lines at the beginning and end are specifically acted out for this song by two voice actors!
Please react to The Boyz - Roar MV and dance practice (And The Boyz - Awake dance practice if u got the time, it’s from the same album). 🙏🏼🙏🏼 The production company behind Roar MV also did Nct 127 Superhuman, SVT - Hot, and a lot of other dope tracks!!
No hate pero aveces pienso que hacen este tipo de videos solo para ganar vistas he visto muchos videos de reacción a tal canción de bts y eso repito no es hate......
