Please continue to support him. Weve seen how he has grown in the industry and he gets his strength from us who loves him. The more you know his past, the more you understand, the more you will love him as a person.

The song is a bop but kind of sad right? Really interesting. Jimin's vocals is fire and production is excellent. Btw this song is #1 on Spotify Global Chart! Jimin becomes the 1st and only kpop artist in history to achieve this feat.

I have the same feeling of discovering anew side of Jimin he hasn’t shown before and totally digging the vulnerability and honesty. It’s very cool and brings more depth to his music and to him as a human being. Love this guy so much!

I love the pop synth. This whole album is a vibe but it's heartbreaking at the same time.

Yeah be sure to listen to the album in order from beginning to end - that’s what Jimin has said will show the progression through his feelings. The sound of this song and the MV take me back to the late 80s complete with his mullet like hair cut and the clubbing with synth pop sounds! Man we used to drown ourselves in alcohol at a fav club every weekend. But back to Jimin - he has had self doubt since the beginning. He didn’t get proper training in singing and idol style dancing and had the shortest training period of the 7 (6mo). He didn’t fit their style of dance, he tried too hard to be so macho and manly, he had an accent he had to suppress, the persona the company picked for him wasn’t him (others in group have said the same for themselves esp Jin). He said he used to call home and tell his parents he might not make it and the company tried 8+ times to cut him from the group saying he wasn’t a good fit. NOW LOOK AT HIM! He is on fire and one of the most famous fastest rising stars of the 7. Jimin still has issues like we all do, but he feels he has come though to the other side from the pandemic era. Thank you for being so inquisitive and looking at things most of us don’t even think about❣️

This just makes me like Jimin even more. Such an 80s vibe, which I love! 💜

I can't stop listening to this song, simply addictive, my favorite song

That feeling of standing still while everyone around is moving around you...I've felt like that too in the past. I felt seperate from reality and apart like I didn't belong. I still get days when I feel like that but not so much now. It always felt like I was in a dream and I couldn't wake up. Jimin is a genius at showing us this feeling in his song. 🫂💜

The album made me cry... as you said, I wanted to hug Jimin soo strongly! He's always been so hard with himself and concerned more with the other's welfare than with his own. Face off and Alone (particularly this) broke me.

80s vibes. It gives me the sense of lonliness and the searching for distractions after a breakup. There's an explanation video. 💜

♦Jimin mentioned that one of his fav movies “Like Crazy” inspired parts of the song aside from the title of song. In the beginning as well as ending to the song, he even samples excerpts from it. Jimin has also said that many of the songs on the album convey what he was going through, his thoughts, his feelings, his emotions as well as despair & depression, during the pandemic in the last few yrs. He also was hoping that maybe he could help others by way of relating & going through similar difficulties during pandemic. So this song Like Crazy, could also be during that time, thinking back while laying his head down, on table in that depressing small room, dreaming of the better times in the past, when he was free to be able to go out & enjoy himself, as well as being with someone, or with friends, or even around ppl in general, being able to be free to go out & party as well. Which is why he even said during his dream state, please don’t wake me up from this dream. I want to stay here.. Maybe that was what all the dirty grimyness also represented, despair of situation, how he felt or how things were at that time, even when it seemed to even ooze into his dream state. 

❣To me the key word is also “pandemic” which Jimin did say that this whole album he released is mainly about. I mean at a certain point, didn’t we all feel this way during the pandemic, when so many to various degrees, feel their rooms closing in, during the period when the pandemic was at its worst, felt & had a look of all in the dirt/mud which in actuality represents despair. In the song Alone, the lyrics Jimin wrote really says much that many can relate to during this time period we all went thru during pandemic. Which in turn, caused him to go through so many thoughts, feelings, & emotions, including anxiety, feeling, alone, despair, anguish, as well as depression, & more. Jimin also said he wanted to share with others in hopes it could help them, as well as be able to relate to some of these feelings. Everyone does indeed deal with these kinds of feelings in different ways. Jimin, himself said, in his song Promise, which he also started writing during another time of inner turmoil, & despair, was that it’s best not to hide one’s self in the dark, alone, but to shine the light on yourself, and to speak up for yourself, instead of saying it’s ok, it’s alright, to yourself & others, when it’s not alright. So Jimin has had inner thoughts and emotions such as these somewhat before pandemic at times, like around the time when BTS in early 2018 was thinking of splitting up, right when he started the song, but made it more uplifting and more positive when everything turned better again! I’m sure at certain stages of one’s life there has been situations, and or times that have cause such thoughts, emotions of despair. But not everyone is able to acknowledge let alone talk about them which is therapeutic and helpful as well! I’m sure this process wasn’t easy to get all out and share, but this is situation from past, and as the last song on album says, “Set Me Free”, at the very end it shows that he’s uplifted and free of those feeling pulling him down haunting him! But indeed these songs and lyrics might help others who are going through similar feelings and emotions, so they know they’re not alone out there. Just like how Jimin’s song Promise helped so many others, he’s phoning these songs in this album will have same effect! Sorry,,,,I didn’t mean for this to get so lengthy!

Watch the dance practice. To me this MV is so distracting. Without the lights, set, costumes, and everything I was able to love the song so much better. After watching this the next day i couldn't remember the song only the visuals. But with just raw choreography I can't get the song out of my head. Jimin floats through the song to the most brilliant choreography that is ultra smooth. Here is my analogy. The MV is like cake with too much icing. But just the choreography is just the right bite. Perfectly delicious. I Love Love the plain choreo. And you can see Jimin's face, eyes, facial expressions, every body movement, every feeling and mood. The choreo tells the story beautifully. The back up dancers compliment him extraordinarily. I can't give it enough compliments. The same way the Set Me Free choreo is brilliant. This is just as brilliant. He does the produced version of the choreo on the Jimmy Fallon show. Watch that first. But again, the lighting and production value is distracting to me. The raw version is the best. My opinion. Now I want to hear yours.
