they were so underscored the entire competition. their choreography was incredibly difficult and ALWAYS CLEAN. each stage was extremely well rehearsed and thought out. I feel sad that fan voting had such an impact and seeing the other groups not voting for their performances. they were absolutely incredible! it was obvious to see that other groups were intimidated by them. they may not have a large fan base, but they’re EXTREMELY hard working, talented and humble!
fr. kingdom was just a popularity contest ever since mnet added the global voting. when i heard skz was gonna be in kingdom, i knew they were gonna win becuz of the global voting. they had #1 constantly, even if they got #6 or #5 on the expert evaluations. it was very biased. if global voting was NOT there, the boyz or ateez would've won easy peasy.
@@Miach_clr yes. They were last place before finale performance but since they got first place on last performance they went up to second place. Triple their scores from before. The Boyz werent able to get any benefit point from sport day or collaboration stages too but they got 2nd place which is so surprising. If only they were 3nd or 4th place I bet they would have been 1st place at the end.

I’m lucky i found this group, I’m an Atiny who found this group through kingdom. Tbh ATEEZ, sf9, Tbz are the real winners cause they gained a lot of popularity through kd

Plus the way they incorporated everything in this performance-paying tribute to all of their stages from RTK to Kingdom, the elements present in their KD stages (ice, water, air, fire, sun, moon), and the GOT reference. It was the perfect ending to the whole narrative they made throughout the show.
ikr, and the fact that this is also the start of the storyline. juyeon said that their performances were put in chronological order since mama2020, but in reverse. i really enjoyed how they incorporated their concept continuously without overdoing it.

Why people want to argue when the boyz MIXING the vcr in this live stage.. It's not their fault for using their creativeness in this stage and also THERE IS NO RULE SAYING THEY CAN'T USED THAT! This boyz always like to experiment their performance with the new thing and they definitely doing great. Also They already planning this a long time ago, since the beginning of kingdom and also turning their disadvantage (younghoon & Haknyeon injury) in making the glorious legendary final stage. Also this stage not ENTIRELY VCR, they just mixing with their live stage to make it more Creative and interesting. Maybe you should watch all the performance from RTK & KINGDOM. This is survival show and they can do everything with their idea, it just the boyz have a big brain and brave to challenge a new things. Why do you all want to blame them. Let us happy celebrate this precious gift form our boyz and you should go research first before come here to argue.

I’m not even a fan of The Boyz however, I recently watched the entire Kingdom program and was in shock by the scoring they received. I truly felt they were ROBBED. I’m not saying the other groups weren’t talented or that they didn’t deserve good scores, it’s just that The Boyz were consistently getting crazy low scoring and their performances were damn near flawless especially for such a large team. It just seem really unbalanced. I am just glad that they didn’t lose their confidence in the end and have continued working so well together. I heard they may be at KCON LA. I am really considering flying out to see them live and support them because I just respect them as great artists.
They were indeed robbed. Have you seen their Road to Kingdom program? You would then realise why the need to keep their scores consistently low in Kingdom. The Boyz won't be attending kcon in LA but they would be having a concert on 29/5 instead which is even better😄 You can consider flying to LA to meet them
Even though THE BOYZ didn’t get first place, I firmly believe that out of all the groups who joined Kingdom (including Road to Kingdom) TBZ has benefited the most from this show. You all know how some Kpop songs are tagged as sounding “too western” therefore don’t fit Koreans’ taste in music? Well the thing about THE BOYZ, their music appeals to the general public (Koreans)-and this is the reason why their Korean fanbase has gotten so big in a short span of time. They needed domestic exposure, they got it through these two shows. Also, through Kingdom, they were able to get the global exposure that they needed. Kingdom was dominated by groups who are more popular outside of Korea. And the thing about global fans, their music taste is rather diverse. Therefore, some of them might dig TBZ’s music and some would not, but still in the end, the group was able to gain a number of international fans. Finally, THE BOYZ getting the highest digital points with a song that isn’t an official comeback is already a win for me when before Checkmate, their songs hardly chart. So the fact that ‘Kingdom Come’ is dominating charts feels like as if they won already. :) Edit: Topping charts, the highest charting 4th gen bg on Gaon Digital Sales (peak at no. 11) of all time, highest peak by a 4th gen bg on Melon Top100 (peak at no. 17), first ever 4th gen bg to win on Music Core, and many many more achievements for their latest album Thrill-ing!!! The Boyz have come so far!!! I’m so proud of them!!!!!
Yeah, literally none of their songs charted on melon before checkmate (except their debut, which charted briefly at #95). So in less than a year, they went from that to their comeback song charting at #5, a single-use competition song with no promotions charting at #24, and random b-sides and OSTs regularly charting. their ascent in Korea is dizzying

having marathoned all of their stages from rtk up until this performance, I think that the most impressive thing about tbz is definitely the fact that they have always prioritised making each of their stages an experience. amidst all of the stress and competition, not only did they manage to make each performance connect narratively through reoccurring themes and motifs (eg: moon/sun; ice/fire) but they also were able to ensure that the stages were unique from one another. and what’s fascinating is the fact that the changes they made were never exactly drastic nor were they necessarily grand either. they’d go from utilising LED screens as a form of optical illusion (No Air) to using a projector and allowing their own shadows to be part of their routine (Monster). one of my favourite moments from kd was when they used a blank sheet of fabric and some lighting during juyeon’s dance solo in No Air. it was simple but incredibly effective. and that’s another thing. their highlights have never felt misplaced or excessive either, they were always purposefully incorporated in order to propel their storyline. the unique point of their performances ranged from a certain prop (the Chajeon Nori log frames during Reveal) to stunt work (Danger) to less conventional dance styles (eg: contemporary, traditional, tango). from creating sets on their stage (Checkmate) to POV style camerawork (No Air), they have shown by far the widest range out of any act and that is undeniable. for Kingdom Come, they used VCR footage as being part of the main performance rather than a simple extension of it ala an introduction video. although this was a risky move, this was likely done as a result of them working around their setbacks. from 2 injured members to 1 member who had to be under quarantine for 2 weeks, they managed to not only work around these issues but, in some way, those “disadvantages” pushed them to be creative with their approach and ultimately led to the creation of yet another memorable stage, a perfect finale to their already impeccable repertoire. as difficult as it has been to watch them grow disheartened throughout the course of the show, causing them to even question their own skills at certain points, I imagine that the experience has been incredibly bittersweet for the members. i’m sure that they themselves know that a similar opportunity such as this, one where they could consistently flaunt their creativity and artistry, might not come as easily after this so they made each stage count and it showed. there’s a certain phrase that i like saying and it’s, “dancing like your life depends on it,”. for tbz, it genuinely felt as though they treated every single stage as if it was their last and that is a trait that is so unbelievably special. to see people who so obviously live and breathe to be on stage and are in total sync with their craft, as a performer myself, it makes me emotional and i can’t help but feel moved. tbz are storytellers through and through and no trophy or title can ever take that away from them. it’s been a privilege to watch them grow over the past 1.5 years. i hope they enjoy some well deserved rest before their next round of promotions (which I’m sure they’ll deliver as usual). thank you so much to the people who worked with them (the creative team, back up dancers, staff, etc.). you all were fundamental in making these stages come to life and should feel immensely proud with the outcome. lastly, to tbz, thank you for letting us witness your journey in becoming the artists that you are. the possibilities for a performer are endless when you have the right mentality and I have no doubt that these boys most certainly do. keep being the stars that you’ve worked so hard to be

People really complained that tbz used in between vcr but the fact is that only TBZ can pull off such performance. Its not easy to match timing and give off such perfect performance. This seemed easy because tbz made it looks like easy.
Ever since Kingdom ended I couldn’t bring myself to rewatch any of their performances without feeling kinda empty for knowing all they went through. Not gonna lie I still feel bitter lol. They showed every possible color, stage, performance, showed the most versatility and astonishing concepts. It wasn’t just the same performance with a different song, it was something unique every single effing time. This show was bs ever since it started, especially with the popularity votes. I’m just so happy all of this is over and that we are getting another comeback :D I’m not ready for maverick.

yea... this show also made me sorta bitter to the fandoms (which I still kinda am), I was and still am a fan of the other groups and now I try to not interact with anyone within the fandoms. Im happy about the hardwork and passion each group put but I just felt it all boiled down to fan votes. The fandoms also felt really rude during this point of the show, which I felt bad for other fandoms who had nothing to do with the show, dealing with the kingdom fandoms. I frequent vlive and other sns platforms and on the vlive boards, and just everywhere there was a fandom spamming to stream their performances. That to me felt really low, unnecessarily low, and unnecessarily toxic. There was also the whole Kevin controversy, Im unsure but I'm pretty sure it was proven to be fake and only mentioned to draw negative attention to the group. After that controversy Kevin looked so sad, and people would go onto vlive and other sns platforms to say how bad the Boyz are because of Kevin (which idek why I have to say thats just rude). Overall im not going to poke fingers even though I kinda am, Im still bitter, but the show also felt really biased as a whole but I digress and I'll continue to support every group in the show

I don't care that they didn't won this time. We have evidence that they are our kings. I feel like they came here after Road to kingdom bc they asked them to come and they were ready to became even more perfect(if that's even possible) and show off their skills,not to win. And in Monster stage they were all perfecty in sinch while dancing I couldn't stop starring how much that amazed me,it's like when people talk about Seventeen's synchronized dancing and now you clearly see an example of such stage of another artist. This song they made is amazing and as always there is so much great things to say but most importanty IT is never too late to STAN The Boyz
The boyz storyline in kingdom is literally an avantgarde performance. Their storyline continues that it gives me goosebumps on how can they think and create a performance that would fit from the story they created. Cre.Ker and The Boyz is literally amazing!!!
His dance was so clean and sharp. Same goes as his voice, angelic voice. Also he start to rap and it sounds so cool in b-side track of Breaking Dawn (first japanese album) titled Kiss Me If You can

I’m just so so happy that I see people saying they placed second because I was honestly scared they would place in 4th or 3rd seeing how they 6th and 4th 2/3 of their previous performances and the fact that they didn’t win any of the round for the No Limit subunit. I’m so relieved that they’re actually second so I hope they don’t beat themselves up about it and take a long break
TBZ will always be the winner in The Bs hearts. As this chapter has ended, let us anticipate the future that awaits both THE BOYZ and The Bs. KD may have ended, but a new chapter begins. And I am just so excited to still be with them in this new chapter. We may all have been stressed and mad at mnet, but still opportunities like this is very rare: to be given a platform where you can maximize your full potential and discover your strength individually and as a group. TBZ has been in this show the longest, from RTK to KD, but they always left me in awe. The range of their performances really showcased their versatility. They did not limit themselves to always showcase something powerful.
See let me just say this i am not their fan didn’t knew anything about them stared watching the show just for stray kids but now I have fallen for the boyz, they were criminally under scored for the whole season. I don’t know who will win but for me they WON. Rooting for them and yes I am gonna Stan them, new fan to the fandom. 🥂

I saw the MR REMOVED and Sangyeon's high note is real, it's live, fucking tremendous voice, throughout the presentation their voices are very stable despite dancing and singing at the same time

I'm an Atiny and I only just watched this video, barely knowing The BOYZ, but oh my GOD- this was such a good performance! I'm sorry to hear that they really didn't score very well overall but it just goes to show how much bias there is on shows like these because this was virtually flawless and really well-done. I hope to see more of them in the future
I'm not a fan but after watching their performance all I can say is that they don't need a crown to prove that they are kings....... they are already one
