Exactly. I'm not even trying to be biased or anything, but there's no Kpop idol who's done ballet and is on her skill level. People always say Mina. But, Mina only did ballet as a hobby. Kazuha was a legit *professional* ballerina. The only person who I can say was on a higher level than Kazuha is a Korean actress named Wang Jiwon, who was a professional ballerina and trained for 17 years, before going into acting.
she’s very impressive seeing how good she is makes me even more impressed by her decision to change career path, kazuha makes me believe that i can pursue a different path even when i have been doing something else for a long time
As a ballerina myself and a K-pop Stan 😌. Kazuha has amazing body control, it’s very hard to do those moves looking graceful when you have to focus on spotting when turning, where the head should be, what angle your body should face, arms and legs posture etc.
Ooh, this is the Queen of Dryads variation from Don Quixote, my favorite ballet! Those turns at the end are called Italian fouettes and they are so hard to pull off!
This was excellent technique except for the last arabesque at the end where she lost her turn-out a bit. Truly, apart from that, she executed very technical, strenuous moves with grace that projected ease of motion. Her pauses after extensions, in particular, were quite impressive and conveyed the strength in her core and calves quite vividly, while providing a sense of unity with the variation's music.
Wasn't she around 15 here? That's amazing. I wonder how much greater she became before she quit ballet at the age of 18. She's probably become so much better just prior to joining Le Sserafim. That's amazing considering she was already great here. 😊
a lot of idols and dancers start with ballet, because it is a good foundation to learn any dance due to its somewhat strict structure and to learn intricate choreography. but kazuha has shown it wasn’t just a foundation, she’s really truly good. i’ve been doing ballet for 5+ years, she’s amazing
I always wondered what the ballerinas and ballet teachers at her school first thought about her leaving ballet for Kpop. And, what they think of her now, seeing how she's succeeded. And, this isn't a small success either. It's high-level success, where she got into the biggest agency in Korea and join one of the top 1% Kpop group out right now. Of course, I'm sure there's people who genuinely support her, then and now. But, I would assume that a lot of ballerinas and teachers would've been kinda like, "why is she leaving this to do Kpop?" sort of in a condescending way, especially in the beginning. Since ballet is considered to be a prestigious thing compared to pop culture/music. But, I wouldn't be surprised if she's already a millionaire or close to it. With the endorsements she has, and especially, money that's going to be made from the upcoming world tours. Tzuyu was said to have become a millionaire in her first year, just from endorsements alone.
@@victornunes6047 Whatt?? I didn't say anything bad, I just expressed my admiration for her. Also I don't even use twitter and I'm not Indonesian or Filipino
