There are many great vocal groups out there like Pentatonix, Home Free etc., but for me, no one beats Forestella. The way this song was arranged is outstanding. I hope they will go on a world tour after Woorim rejoins them. I need to see them live.

Thanks for your fantastic reaction to Forestella! This performance was for the 1st round of Phantom Singer All Stars. (I'll say PSAS) PSAS could be filmed because serious covid situation made every concert canceled. For that reason they had online audience and a few celeb guests only. All the finalists groups from 3 seasons were invited and each round had a specific themes. Forestella is the 2nd season's winner. Each season has 3 final groups and all the final 9 groups were invited to PSAS. The celebrity guests and online audience voted to someone they liked. There were 7 rounds with different theme. But one theme was solo performance representing the group and one theme was seasons' match. So each group had 5 songs as a whole group. They compete on the themes given and sometimes compete as solo, as member-changed quartet or duet in this show. The theme for the 1st round was making stage representing the own originality of themselves. As you saw they showed their originality like this. And I felt the lyrics was what they're talking to each other because they came through tough times together for years and share strong bond among them. BTW I got chills when I came to know the time was going backwards! See the clock face was reversed. These genius artists made me imagine a story about the Time in a bottle this way. Every time they make me love them even more than ever!. Another songs from PSAS are these 4; Je suis malade, Shape of you, a Snail, Inner Universe. But be extra-careful as JTBC is very strict copyright claimer and blocks alot! Better blur or transparent the vodeo to avoid copyright block.
Thank you so much for expediting this reaction…I was once again reminded of my first reaction to this performance of a favourite song from childhood to this day…..I know I could not believe the beautiful version I was hearing, then they stepped it up and just blew my mind! Knowing what happened to Jim Croce shortly after releasing this song and the poignancy of what they’re singing here, each member from right, Cho MinGyu, Bae Doohoon, Kang HyungHo and Ko Woorim seemed to be conveying the agony of not having enough time. I also want to emphasise this is a LIVE performance, in a competition in 2021 Phantom Singer All Stars (winners of Phantom Singer 1 to 3 ) while covid-19 still had a grip on the world…so the meaning was even more pronounced. Online audience only with their fellow contestants and judges present. EDITORIAL NOTE: For those who are not familiar with Jim Croce, this is a song written over 50 years ago when he found out he was going to be a dad in 1971. It became a posthumous hit when he tragically was killed in September 1973 along with 5 others in a plane crash en route to a concert in Texas. He was only 30 years old.

I agree with your comments. This was an excellent reaction to one of my favourite Forestella covers. Doo Hoon's (mainly baritone but very versatile) strong complaint about there not being enough time rings with me each time. As does Hyung Ho's (counter tenor) cry for the passing of time. Speaking of emotions, you don't seem to have done Je Suis Malade yet. That is an emotional masterpiece by Forestella.
I'm always happy to see any new reaction to Forestella. But when I see a new one from you, my friend, it's something I cannot wait to savor! Your love and appreciation for what these 4 amazing vocalists do is on par exactly with the way I feel! Even though Woorim (that incredible basso profundo) is my alltime favorite, I am always floored by the other 3 as well! Thanks again so much from your friend in Las Vegas! I try to be impartial but listening to other quartets, i still find Forestella's harmonies incredible. Their voices can sound like a full choir just by their harmonics, textures and tesitures combined. But even then one can still hear their individuals voices so clearly. I don't know how they do that. Amazing
