Courtney, I find your channel today. You are in a very serious and dangerous situation, even by Korean standards. If you're going to sue in a Korean court, I recommend you get a lawyer as soon as possible. Your RU-vid video is enough evidence to win your case. In my opinion, Korean lawyer who speaks English is the best choice. Korean lawyer who is familiar with Korean law rather than an American lawyer. At the very least, you should go to the Foreigners' Rights Center in Gyeonggi Province. Lawyers are not as expensive in Korea as they are in the United States. It's best to sue in a U.S. court, if your Korean husband is staying in South Korea, an order from a U.S. court will not be enforced.

If your residence is registered in Ansan City, the Ansan Court will have jurisdiction over your case. The address of the Ansan Court is 75, Gwangdeokseo-ro, Danwon-gu, Ansan-si, Gyeonggi-do. There are many lawyers' offices near the courthouse, so you can visit them. If this is hard for you, the Gyeonggi-do Foreigners' Rights Center can help you. You should file a lawsuit as soon as possible. If you spend more time away from the children, your husband may try to accuse you of child abandonment. I'm Korean and I'm using a translator in case my comments are misunderstood.

My 2 daughters are from my 1st marriage from years ago. He was their step father. They did get close with him at first, but at the end he started calling them "parasites " living in his house. He kept treating to kick them and their stuff out

They did, he even tried to include them in the abuse before by telling them to call me curse words while abusing me. they were too small to understand then. My daughter went to a 아동학대 interview as well about all he did infront of them. I think the whole thing was very confusing for them. But now they just keep saying "why isn't he returning the baby we miss the baby"

We are still married currently. But I have a f-6 visa. I had a a f-6-2 child raising visa before I married him. He had interned abroad before, but did not obtain a greencard. If my son isn't returned, I plan to report the abuse if I am deported for defending myself, back to my home country. I will report all his abuse, as most people are not able to apply for a greencard or even visa in the u.s if they have committed a serious crime toward a u.s citizen. I also haven't established my son's birth abroad yet, and if he doesn't return him I already checked with the embassy, he will never be able to get a green card by using my son. The u.s immigration policy is getting stricter this election. He must get the greencard via our marriage, not our son. So I don't plan to establish my son's birth abroad for now, because people have warned me he likely would try to use it as an excuse to immigrate. My son is only money and oppertunies to him...he doesn't care about him sadly. never has

Did the hospital where your son was born say that it would be difficult to resolve the issue even if you brought the birth certificate to the embassy? If you have threatened your daughter, we recommend that you first report to the police that your husband committed domestic violence and child violence. Even if your husband is not punished, if he has a history of reporting, it will serve as evidence for him to be punished if he makes a bigger threat in the future.
