I mean if this was a real life situation then Yh most of the time would be against it as some professional relationships like teacher-student, therapist-patient etc are not meant to be crossed but it’s sitcom so whatever, but definitely one of my lesser favourite storylines/relationships in this show
Of course dating a student is inappropriate but this is kind of relationship Ross needed. A nice good-looking girl on similar intellectual level and no serious commitment. After everything he's been through this is what he needed, just to enjoy being with someone without serious plans.
omg, this was written that way purely for humor, it's a sitcom, moron!! If you are going to take seriously everything in the sitcom, then just stop watching one! because to watch it that way - to nitpick every situation, it doesn't make sense, because the essence of the sitcom is an exaggeration and absurd situations like this one!
