No. In Taiwan, between two boys or men, they will call the other people 哥哥 (elder brother) only when there are big gap of years, like 5 or 10 years elder. Or when they are not close enough. But 柏宇 and 光漢 are so close. They are good friends, so 柏宇 won't call 光漢 哥哥. Not just for boys or men, for girls are the same. Especially girls don't like to be called 姊姊 (elder sister). Some girls will even get mad when they are called 姊姊. However, 柏宇 called 佳嬿 姊姊 because she is 12 years older than 柏宇. Also 佳嬿 got married already. Sometimes when girls are married, they won't care too much about being called 姊姊. In Taiwan, age is not a big deal. Most of the time, we won't change our attitude or words just because other people are older. It depends on we are close or not. Age is not so important.
