We just bought a 37 year old 4LDK house in Yamanashi, Japan. We will take you on the journey of renovating and DIYing an outdated house from beginning to the end. 4LDK / 439㎡ / 37 year old Instagram: @gcasajapan
Beautiful spacious house, with good layout & views out of most sides of the house! The tatami rooms on the main floor, with the painted sliding doors look fabulous! Some parts of Yamanashi Prefecture are within a (relatively) short train ride into Northwestern Tokyo.
Gonna be living the dream of a home in Japan through you. So far I like what I see. The house has good bones. I'd love doing it up; and expect you'll be having fun doing just that. Really looking forward to your renovation adventures. Love your surprise in the dining area. You scored with the traditional style doors etc.. downstairs. Wee bit envious. Waiting with baited breath for your next video. Congratulations on your home. Love from Australia.
This is lovely and won't need tons of work. Maybe just some insulation in the floors. If there's an access under the floors from outside, you don't even need to tear them up to insulate, just do it a little at a time, taping it all into place as you go.
Tape the crack before plaster! If wall paper stuck well you could paint over the top otherwise strip wallpaper a unknown nightmare 👍🏏 Nice House Great Veiws !
Thank you for the comment! Nice to hear from people in the seminar situation. We actually suggested the same but the seller (the daughter of the previous owner) wasn’t opened for the idea of us cleaning the house ourselves. Good luck with your renovations!
@@gcasajapan interesting, the agent brought it up before we asked. I bought a little Kei truck for $1,200 USD. Cost around 300 ish to take to the recycle center.
@@cocolenchoraw It’s definitely more cost saving to do it yourself for sure! In the end it all worked out for us though. It would’ve taken us months to clean the whole house but instead we were able to jump right in to the renovation.
I like this videos from Japón that’s my favorite country I like japonés people they have discipline they hard workers very smart people I live in USA Texas Dallas but I like watch videos from Japón
@@gcasajapan Thank you for the information, I know a lot of people dont wish to give out the exact number. Dont know why, what ever, but the ball park is good enough. Thank you again.
Thank you for the comment! We paid less than 10 million yen:) 10th place, Wow! Good for you. If you want to find out more details about the house, please watch Ep. 10 Q&A video.
