This world and mostly everyone in it, is going to try to convince you of giving up on your dreams. They couldn't reach theirs, so they figure you wont be able to either. Don't let anyone poison your head. Your mind is your biggest enemy and best pal at the same time. Keep moving forward.
There is more than meets the eye when dk rides off of rainbow road at 1:52. In this instance, I see rainbow road as samsara, or the buddhist cycle of rebirth. Dk flying off of the course represents the path to nirvana. The pink road he drives on after this moment is nirvana. Time repeats itself. This video hits deep.

Brawl days were better days. Not because of the game, because it plays like ass, but because of the memories it gave and glory that nintendo had with the DS and the Wii. And those memories of that time period, i will hold deeply.
Is that when you grew up? I was born into the SNES era and I think N64 era is Nintendo's absolute peak; it was the perfect blend of retro and futurism where there was still some mystique to gaming like you couldn't just look everything up online. Xbox Live was obliterating Nintendo during the Wii era.
