Even though i heard the green hill theme countless times as i grew up, somehow this one kinda hits home. I wasn't a 90s kid or anything i was born in 2005 but almost every game i played for the first time were games like the original Sonic game. Thank you for giving me actual nostalgia.
It's 6 in the morning and a thought suddenly wakes you up. You silently run to the living room while the house is quiet and turn on the television, making sure that the volume is low enough so you won't wake anyone up. You silently replace the Ecco cartridge with Sonic 2 and get lost in another world where protagonists have got to go fast. You also have got to go fast before breakfast. This song is the music you hear while reminding yourself of that memory stuck in time 23 years later.
I can't think of a whole lot more, but this one is definitely near the top if not at. GHZ is one of those levels where the music just sticks to you once you've experienced it.

Hey! Love the sound of this! Great instrument choices. What's that last note's sound? It's coming and going through the entire song, but I just can't describe it. Sounds like a female voice with lots of delay/reverb to it. Cheers!
