I finally found the sample Maitro used for this song it's called ふたりの夏物語 Never Ending Summer by Kiyotaka Sugiyama & Omega Tribe (listen around the 0:12 part of the song ;) )
this is lowkey one of the best vaporwave songs ever made, and my favorite from maitro. coming back and revisiting it just took me back to when i first discovered vaporwave and this just highkey bangs even after everything that has happened to the genre.
You just described my experience too. My favorite song of Maitro and one of my favorites of the genre. Always I listen it, it remiends me my discovering season of this kind of music. Absolutly Nice.
@@kimketris2460 Same here. I think this was one of the first vaporwave songs that got me into that genre. You'd come across Saint Pepsi, and then you'd see this.
Riding Bean is one of the most badass, full throttle, no holds barred creative projects I have ever had the pleasure of discovering. And it's funny & cheesy AF alongside the badassery & gorgeous animation.
+Wojtek Dyda true, however I think what he was referring to is the fact that most vapor wave tracks heavily sample from music from the late 70s up through the 80s.
Obviously not but he's pretty good at what he does and he isn't as popular as MACROSS 82-99, THOUGHTS or Night Tempo and I'm pretty sure those guys do sampling too.
+lolatmyage lol didnt say that. But have you ever tried to write a song? a good one? If you have then you know how difficult it is to come up with a good riff or melody. I'm not saying a 5 year old child could do it, but it is 10x easier when you use already created hooks and stuff
João Victor Castro It doesnt rally matter how easy it is, what matters is the product. 100% 80s samples can turn out an excellent song no thanks to how east it was to copy paste but thanks to the talent of the creator. You need skills no matter what
Makes me think of the drives by the river from my substitute teacher job back in 2015/2016, to and from work. I used to listen to this during those drives and even though the song made me nostalgic back then, it still evokes that same old feeling, no matter how much I've changed in these last four years. The exact same feeling.
Besides how awesome this video is and how exquisite the music is, it got me thinking how much would a car that does all those crazy stuff cost? I am such a sucker for 80s 90s car chase scenes.
I still have the OG S I M P S O N W A V E 1 HR MIX! video. I tried to reupload but Fox banned it worldwide.. I have the original track list too if you need!
These vibes keep me thinking, imagining, in other planets, galaxies, or places where this can be enjoyed whitout being judged♥ I love this song, also the genre, the problem is that I live in Tijuana, Mexico, and not too much people knows about this or listen to, Is sad for me, Im addicted to music, but anyways, I would like to live in a place where everybody knows about futurefunk/vaporwave♥ The only place I can enjoy this, is in my h e a d
I downloaded this music 2 years ago before going to the city center take some documents I came back home listening to this while the night life of the city center was being builded up The sinesthesic experience was remarkable This music and others are kind of a mark of that period of my life
