Ok so I've watched a ton of Bosh videos and I think I'm getting a handle on the underlying lore. Basically there is this plane of existence that everyone can access by reaching unspeakable levels of rage or terror. When a portal to this domain is created a lot of energy is released from within which creates earthquakes and loud noises. The brain gathers this energy to open the portal further which leads to a high concentration of energy/heat in the brain, some of which escapes from the eyes in the form of light. Eventually, the amount of energy gets so big that it stretches time and space which is why the portal closes seemingly at an instant. Another pattern in Bosh videos is people/things vanishing out of existence. My theory is that these are fakes or doppelgängers that come from the aforementioned rage realm and are deceiving the inhabitants of our reality to serve their goals (which at the moment are ambiguous). These beings are affiliated with another species of spirits from the rage dimension that have the ability to reverse time and create loops/stutter which they sometimes use to prevent humans (?) from communicating with each other by jumbling up phrases. Given that Doppelgängers often disappear in front of humans therefore blowing their cover may indicate that the time spirits are actively working against them. The time spirits may be trying to protect humanity from the deception of the Doppelgängers or maybe they don't care about humanity at all and we are just caught in the middle of a demon war. There is a final being from the rage dimension for which I want to talk about. A malevolent demon that posses its human host and makes them lose their sanity. He made Gru kill his neighbor Fred, he turned Linguini into the biggest idiot psycho you've ever seen and in this video you can see him possessing Hal but his sorrow after being rejected by Roxanne overpowered the demon's influence. Although in this video Hal turns out to be a doppelgänger which indicates that the demon can also possess doppelgängers. It may be the case that the doppelgängers are under the rule of the demon and the Hal doppelgänger was sent by him to murder Roxanne but he ended up falling in love with her
