If you like Eric and deborahbot you’ll love my Instagram + Twitter where I’ve drawn them a bunch, both usernames are @baggiboii so give that a peep if you’re interested :D
“Are you now my mother?” was such a hilariously wholesome moment, followed by the fact that they quite literally take her as their newly found human mother
THE MOST heart wrenching part of this film was when Pal had them download new orders and they grasped their heads in pain as their screens glitched out.

I love these two idiotic robots. Like- They actually sounded as if they are actually living creatures than robots after they became defects. And the fact that Eric said "What are you doing to me?" After Deborahbot literally explained how to get the kill code.
"But it's super far away you'll never make it-" "It's 80 miles away" "What are you doing to me right now?" That is easily my favorite joke in the movie
When my family sat down to watch this movie my sister and I absolutely latched onto Erica and Deborahbot, they were literally our favorite characters. We wanted them to be included in literally everything
“my human guy name is eric” “my name is... also eric!” “no... I mean.. deborah...bot...5000” “i d i o t” OK OK “WE HAVE THE KILL CODE STORED IN OUR MEMORY BUT TO INACT IT YOU HAVE TO IMBARK ON A PARRELESS JOURNEY TO PAL LABS CAMPUS SILICON VALLEY SURROUNDED BY A ROBOT ARMY AND INTO IT INTO OUR GREAT AND POWERFUL LEADER TO DESTROY HER BUT YOU WILL NEVER SURVIVE actually you could stop us pretty easily you could enter the kill code remotely at the mall of the globe it’s 80 miles away *what are you doing to me*
@@kyogretherealwhale “TO THE PAL LABS CAMPUS SILICON VALLEY, SURROUNDED BY A ROBOT ARMY, AND ENTER IT INTO OUR GREAT AND POWERFUL LEADER TO DESTROY HER”
"But you would never *SURVIVE--"* "Actually, you could stop us quite easily. You can also enter the kill code remotely at any Pal Labs retail store. There's one at the Mall of the Globe, a nearby shopping center." "But it's super far away. You'll never make--" "It's *8 0 m i l e s a w a y ."* _"What are you doing to me right now?"_
I like the fact that they actually learn. Like swinging arms while running. They didn’t swing them first time, then they tried to replicate but did it wrong and then they got it right
Notice how in the movie, the robots all have themes of very geometric shapes and sharper edges. When Eric and deborahbot use the markers to give themselves faces, it’s with organic lines and curves to show their human side showing, and when Pal takes control of them, the red on their screens obstructs the view of their faces
Well they kinda do or else they’d look bad just completely motionless. It’s their job to make sure nothing is out of place like that when they animate the scene.
@@monarch1649 I know that what? 🤣 I mean, most would just have them sit and move their heads or walk around a bit or even not have them in the shot at all. I'm referring to the paddy cakes and little funny shots like you see them doing in the background that are so charming lol. I haven't really seen many animators do so much with characters idling in the background, occasionally staring and slightly moving. Having that wouldn't make them look out of place but really normal which is why I find it so funny that they make them do little quirky things most wouldn't spend time on 😂
1. THE WAY THEY RUN KILLED ME- 2. Eric: “oo! I found one :D deb: oh I did to! “We won YAY!!” 3. They are literally like the most chaotic but calm duo ever-
I love how they slowly become more and more humanlike. like look at the section in the mall, at the beginning they run with their arms down, then they start swinging their arms around, almost mimicking the family:')
@@hectordavid169 the movie is pretty unfunny, most of the humor falls flat and some parts are stretched for too long, i really wanted to love this movie, but it just, falls flat fot me
Sometimes a family is just: 1. a dad who doesnt know computers 2. a mom who is trying her ding dangely best! 3. the gay kid 4. the dinosaur kid 5. a loaf of bread that could just be the dog and 6. their two robots!
@@yaboiiskelly2502 i think at the end of the movie the mom asks if she and another girl are "official". I think thats why they probably think she is gay. I dont really care, i just liked the movie a lot
i mean the competition isn't exactly hard since most of them are just lifeless emotionless beings and no Transformers don't count they're aliens (besides the G1 ones those are actually robots i think? look okay the have 2 origins we don't know which is right)
I really hope they do something more with these two they actually made me laugh plus they're so good as animated characters like actual personality whc is hard to do for both animated things especially robots
Was not expecting these two guys to end up becoming recurring characters, but they make the movie so much better for it. The entire scene of them at the dinosaur stop was comedic gold
"Thank you human. are you now my mother???" "Uhhh, sure?" I WAS DYING WHEN I HEARD THAT! Also at "Thank you mother. We are now your beautiful baby boys."
These silly robots were the saving grace for me. I wasn't really feeling the movie until they were introduced and then the movie got a whole lot more interesting. I love their movements and how hard they try to be _humans._ The scene when one of the robots was educating Rick on hurtful robot stereotypes was so great. And I could not stop laughing when the Mitchell family and their friendly robots tried so hard to blend in. 🤣
@Charlotte Nebres LOL I mean aren’t they created by the same company in the movie though? that technically means that there siblings and that they have like a million siblings when you think about it lol
@@mrcritical6751 that made me sad too :( like eric and deborahbot were vital to stopping PAL and they’re told they’re part of the family but they are never truly accepted as such :(
