Fun video! I caught what Brandon said, 'Us kids love watermelon!'! LOL! I love it too though! I love how you just take us along & chat & visit the animals. I have never watched aa boring video from you, Steph. I usually watch your videos before I turn in at night. Gives me a happy goodnight feeling.
Hey Stephanie! Loved the video! The necklace was beautiful! Getting each of the girls one is so loving and getting the boys each a hat is also loving. I enjoy catching up with you and your family and also your critters! I love the way you and Brandon work together and how you're raising your family! Love and blessings to you all.
I think the stuff growing in the garden u weren’t sure what is was looks like okra. Maybe it will produce. Should. Volunteers are always appreciated. Thanks for the video. 🐾❤️🐾
People giving tips about gardening mean well. Just remember, it’s a learning experience. Crandall didn’t pay attention to people giving hints about how to grow his potatoes and they grew anyway. Maybe he would have got a bigger harvest if he had followed suggestions but who knows. He was happy with himself. That’s what counts.
Hey Steph, for the garden They make a thing called liquid fence - they come granulated and you sprinkle it around the edge and the bunnies will stay out ❤ it works great The plant coming up is Okra 😋
Love and enjoy watching your videos. May the lord bless and protect you and your family and the animals. The lord will guide you and be at your side always
Love the necklace for Addison. It would be great for Leighton and Kayson even though they didn't win. It would recognize their hard work. Brandon is stepping all over the plants. That looks like okra plants. Dixie is probably scared of the fencing.
I think you all are doing a great job you don't have to answer to anybody. There's only one we have to answer to and that's God. And I'm so happy to see that you all got all the stuff for your house. And that's so exciting and now you get to see your home going up may God bless you and your family.❤❤❤
Stephanie, that’s just part of yt life. There are always going to be trolls. People who can’t help themselves but to try to tell every one else how to live their lives. And I’m guessing those people can’t even run their own life. I have learned to ignore those folks. You all just keep doing you. You are loved, and we enjoy your videos, and being a part of your family.
If you filmed every single minute of every day, you would get nothing else done. Just keep on with what works for you and the memories you want to have for yourself and family in later years because I promise, you will forget things.
For all you people saying the gate did not close well it did close. Just watch as she gets up the driveway farther. When she walks by the sensor it starts closing.
Love your garden 🪴 and the necklaces you got the kids. I think it’s an awesome thing to remember such a great season for each of them as well as for you and the family. It was definitely a group effort ❤
Please don’t worry about the negative comments, every channel has them. Unfortunately there are those trolls that just have to be mean. Those of us that watch all the time, love what you do and know you love your family and animals❤❤❤
Another great video love yall 💖 💖💖💖 they all look like there do I ng n wonderful a animals looking wonderful out there take care God bless yall and keep yall 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Grass isn't growing well with this hot sun this year. He in Va. everything is brown especially the grasses. We are on water ussage watch too. Much needed rain. Was hoping Beryl would have come up the states. Everyo e need rain even Steph &Brandon farm.
Hi Steph, love your videos, the animals all look good, they are defiantly happy. Your garden is coming along really good. It’s nice having the space to do that, nothing better than fresh fruit and vegetables. 👍👍❤️❤️🇨🇦
Just letting you I think you are doing a wonderful job on your videoing! I enjoy watching your farm life. I sure wish I could have agarden. Living in a townhouse give us nothing except a veranda. So I do have a few plants.
Steph, what might help on the corn, tell Brandon, instead of planting long rows of corn, plant shorter rows and more of them. Corn has to cross pollinate and it will make better corn. It’s hard to explain on here. Ha ha. Like a square instead of long rows. Anyway, just a suggestion love you guys.
Stephanie nice video nice necklace for Addison probably cooler under your tiny house is why Dixie is there Stephanie the people that leave rude comments are just wanting to complain they have nothing better to do ❤❤❤❤❤❤
My family always planted corn in squares, not rows. Corn cross pollinates. There's nothing like homegrown sweet corn fresh from the garden. Soak in the husk overnight, then place it over the fire or in the oven, husk an all the next day. Sweet and juicy!
Chicken chores……have you suggested to the kids to rake up all the chicken poop?? The chickens are NOT going to eat their poop. That might be why there’s sooo much feed on the ground. Please don’t take this negative, I don’t mean it that way. The watermelon…..there’s a way the plants can be trimmed??? Don’t ask me cause I don’t know! I just saw it on someone else’s channel. And Steph….being a farmer is the hardest job, no matter if it’s homesteading as you guys or the farmers that are up at 4 am with their cows, or the big tractors working their wheat field etc…
Good idea on the garden planting idea!! Watermelon is mostly water so when freezing its like ice. U can do that too. Put in ice cube trays and freeze. U might want to put up fencing for the garden. U need to fertilize the garden maybe to help it grow. 😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤❤
Stephanie, it’s OK it’s just a sign of respect that’s all it’s just another form of respect and you know you’re worried about what other people might say. You’re much better than that don’t let them bother you you have always got those people that don’t agree or don’t like what you doing Just ignore him. I know it’s easy to say but I do what I can to ignore all the naysayers and people that don’t like what I do that’s just too bad I do things my way and that’s it. May God bless you and he has four lovely children, a loving husband And the beautiful piece of property and all of them loving animals and things will get more and more blessed with the new home being built and the endless baby chicks being hatched with Captain Kayson, the chicken master and your beautiful daughters and your hunting and trapping son Layton. Keep on living the dream sweetie you were just so blessed God love you.❤❤❤❤❤
If they’re not videoing there life and putting it out for others to see. Ignore them, on social media everyone has a perfect life. They don’t do anything wrong. My kids never went out and drank and partied, while in high school. I still felt like there mom n I could have done things different. But you don’t have a manual when you have kids. They’re books but they’re not your life or kids. So it’s just a guideline. We live and learn you guys have 4 so you know how you want to raise your kids. Everyone else can kiss off!
I thought you were a bit nervous today Steph and then learned why. Ignore folks who are keyboard cowards and keep being you! You need moderators to delete and block the cowards!!
Rabbits will eat the corn off when it is young and tender. A trick to making your peppers and tomatoes grow taller is to pick of the flowers when the plant is small to help the growth go to the plant otherwise the nutrients go to the fruit. God Bless from your Canadian Friend.
I love watching all your videos and so does my daughter who is 16 months old your oldest son looks like my 8yr old son her brother who shes seen maybe 2 times we love you and your family and animals. You and Brandon are amazing team and amazing parents.
Fence off the garden area. Keeps the animals out. Also, if you are feeding the goats grain they won’t want to eat grass and weeds. They are built in lawnmowers, fence them off where you want stuff to be cleared out, they will clean it up, but you have to cut back on grain. Why work for food if someone is going to give them grain.
If you planted something where the other plants are it’s possible that the ones that didn’t grow last year started growing this year. I’ve had it happen before. They look either like a squash or pumpkin plant.
Garden advice is relevant to your area, what works for me in the Northeast might not work for you. We do not have the long spells of 100 degree weather, maybe a week total over the summer. We also get more rain normally. My only suggestion would be to start composting the animal manure, I don't know if llamas are like alpacas and use the bathroom in one area, but alpaca manure is said to not have to be composted like chicken, cow, horse due to the way they digest their food and no or few weeds.
❤ maybe you have volunteers coming up in the garden. It does look like okra.

Hi Steph: Just something suggested to help you out. I'm a hose nozzle specialist. 😆 I own 3 BONAIRE hose nozzles that are theeeee greatest thing I have EVER used. I have one in my front yard, my side yard and my backyard. They work wonderfully so you, or Brandon, won't have to use your thumb at the end of the hose anymore. The nozzles are made of VERY hard rubber, like a tire. If you drop the nozzle on the ground, it will not break and will not crack. You can buy them online, or last I knew, Lowes had them. You can turn it on and off clockwise or counterclockwise, and WITHOUT turning your water off at the spigot. My hose water stays on all the time, but I turn it off and on from the nozzle. It has about 4 different water selections to choose from. I think you would LOVE it. I sure do. My neighbor also has had one for years, at my recommendation. He LOVES it.
I leave my water on all the time and control with a spray nozzle. Have never tried the Bon-aire. How does it do in winter? Have to keep a hose out to water animals and trees but they will crack or break at a light freeze. Would like to have one that will stand up to a light freeze. Saw a good price for one at WalMart.
I totally agree about Christmas delays. I finish my Christmas shopping by June 1st.lol❤️❤️❤️🤣🤣🤣 You only see twenty minutes of the Eddy’s life in a video. There are 10,080 minutes in a week so get real people if you think you know everything this wonderful family does in a given day.
Jubilee chickens sure are pretty. Dont know why anyone would say any of you animals arent taken care of. They all look at the perfect weight, coats are shiny, act happy n content. Dont take it to heart when people try to put you down. Block n delete are the best way to deal with what they used to call Debbie downers. I guess now they are Karen downers😂
Stephanie I really think Brandon covered the corn seed with to much dirt. It doesn't need to cover the whole drench. Just cover the seed very lightly and when it comes up and gets about 6 inches fill the drench up around the roots so they will be deep enough not to blow over. That's the way my grandfather and my mother taught me 60 years ago. I'm a kid to Brandon when it comes to watermelon. ❤❤❤ it. Enjoyed the video ❤️🫶❤️ NC 😊🇺🇸
Stephanie that plant that you don’t know what it is looks like okra to me . Maybe from last years plants that had pods on them that went to seed and came up as volunteer plants .
