My favourite song from one of the best albums of the 80's. It's well-produced, more than 40 years on it doesn't really sound dated at all. It's grandiose, in fact everything is big here: the songs, the lyrics, the strings, the sound. It's a total contrast to the bleakness of the UK at that time, and it's meant to be this way. Escapism at its finest, and it worked a treat.

This got lots of airplay in Canada and is one of my favs from ABC. Whatever happened to great music like this with wonderful lyrics and fantastic strings?

The entire album was/is a joy to listen to in 1981 when I was 21 and interestingly this revived sound shows it hasn't aged at all.

I grew up as a Prog' Rock / Heavy Metal fan & played electric guitar in bands... So, Micheal Schenker/Paul Chapman (U.F.O) were MY heroes, then I heard THIS Totally left-field for me, this was, yet I was smitten by this masterpiece of a song. Hadn't heard it in decades, yet, when I did, it bought me to tears & missing 1982 Nostalgia IS a very, very powerful thing

Although I was only going to do the 2 main ABC hits, a couple of people asked me to do "All Of My Heart" which charted a respectable #21 in Australia which is quite good for a fourth single. The official video (4.11) is a cut down version of the song, which is 4.45 in length. Although the original audio I had with the source video wasn't bad, I replaced it with a flac version from the original "Lexicon of Love" album. Instead of editing and fading the song out, I re-looped the original intro scenes as filler for a dreamy outro scene of Martin Fry reading and discarding the letter in to the gutter. I have no idea who stomped on Martin Fry's heart but he seems quite upset given the lyrics. An American show called "Bands Reunited" tracked them down many years after their split and actually managed to get them back together. I have tried a lot of video enhancing software, but I wasn’t impressed with the results at all…… And they charge 100, 200, 300 USD or ore (a year?) So, I am still looking for the best video enhancing software. You did a great job enhancing this music video Austech!! Not only a great job, but also an important job! There are plenty of music videos from, let’s say 2015 till now, in full HD and 4K quality. However, music videos from the 70s, 80s and 90s are very often available only in low, or NO quality. There’s footage of World War 2 in astonishing quality, and then I search for a music video from 1985, 40 years after the war, and…………………only SHIT quality available. Not so funny. I have no idea what they are doing at RU-vid; what’s wrong with enhancing old(er) music videos? There are still thousands of videos in 240/360/480 pixels on RU-vid, very low quality (well, quality isn’t the right word I’d guess). You are Australian, right? Good!
