The newly constructed 100-meter Takti Bridge on the Thimphu-Phuentshogling highway is now open for traffic, boasting a load capacity of 70 tonnes. This development comes as a relief for commuters facing year-long landslides along the route.
Infrastructure and Transport Minister Chandra Bdr. Gurung and Indian Ambassador Sudhakar Dalela officially inaugurated the bridge, highlighting its significance in enhancing connectivity and safety.
Project DANTAK confirms that the bridge has met all quality control checks, ensuring adherence to top construction and engineering standards.
