Haipou Jadonang Malangmei was a fearless freedom fighter and protector of Indigenous culture in the Naga Hills of Northeast India. He dedicated his life to resisting British colonial rule and the imposition of foreign faiths while preserving the rich traditions of the Zeliangrong Nagas. Though he was martyred at the young age of 26, Jadonang's spirit continues to inspire generations in their fight for identity and cultural preservation. His legacy lives on, a testament to unwavering courage and resilience.
