This is just my opinion as an English teacher, but there isn't a lot of pure, eternal love in that book or it's characters. Especially Heathcliff and Cathy. Great book! Awful people.

I don't need to write it again. They lead a completely different life than I thought. Ah, it occurs to me that we are close in age. I thought you were alone because you were very empathetic when I wrote about my situation. (I thought alone in a small town or in a village where people hear everything from their neighbors, etc.) When you're caring for a family or a partner, you have a lot to do. That is clear. I often don't know how to get through the days without going crazy😉.🤭 I'm also divorced and I think there are more and more couples. We women no longer have to endure everything (in a marriage) because we are more independent of men. But there are of course more reasons. I have a son here in Berlin, but he has to drive an hour when he visits me. I see him about once a month, otherwise I'm alone with myself. The weather here is great.
