Anti price gouging is not price control. It is implemented in California (Penal Code 396), so that is where the idea comes from. It's only implemented in state of emergency, so this does not mean the government gets involved in price setting, but government can penalize if gouging is identified during a state of emergency, such as Covid.
@@elvinthalund5193 the only way that it can work is by controlling price. California has a program for emergency situations. I think this is a bad idea most of the time. However, Kamala is not talking about emergency. She’s talking about this being a permanent solution.

It's retrospective and preventatives so that companies or individuals can be sued for price gouging, during state of emergency. As it's a law it's permanent, but nothing to do with controlling day-to-day prices.
From $37K to $65K that's the minimum range of profit return every month I think it's not a bad one for me, now I have enough to pay bills and take care of my family.

everyone knows that follows tesla that you should sell before the event and buy after. makes me think these sort of channels are just here to try and pump the stock.
