If a boy like this was idolizing Ted Bundy, I'm teriffied thinking about todays Jeffrey Dahmer series on Netflix and how will that influence children and young adults. 😫
Watching a TV show, playing video games, playing roleplaying table top games or reading books does not cause people to become killers. It's difficult to pinpoint exactly why someone becomes a killer, but what we have so far is a complicated mix of upbringing, childhood trauma and some sort of personality disorder (often anti social personality disorder former known as psychopathy). Like, killers are usually pretty messed up people. They will find a reason to kill. Will it be their hatred for women? Their lust for violence? Their need for control? It's probably not gonna be a tv show though.
For 99.9% of people that Netflix series won't do more than make us realize hoe much of a sick fuck he was. But we can't make delicious based on that 0.1% otherwise we make such things like it even more likely to happen.
it makes me so mad that the laws that are supposed to protect kids end up letting dangerous people like him run free and make money off the fact he took lives away from other kids
Instead the "law" bans and kills trans and queer people. Cuz "we gatta protect the kids🥺" mean while actual predetors still roam the streets cuz they make the govermant loids of money.....make it make sense
Once Aki said he went in his grandmother's room and found her favorite massager. I had to pause and take a small walk around the room knowing what was going to happen next. But yay for On the Case
Once I knew the boys age I already knew he wouldn't be convicted. I remember a episode I saw on trash taste highlights, Joey (akis boyfriend) talked about how minors in Japan are protected against Jail and the death penalty. It sucks honestly, those kids never got the justice they deserved.
@@Histerdcap So when they kill people they just be let go and roam free? Because according to that logic kids should get away with anything until they hit 18
@@Histerdcap i blame his parents for being too strict and traditional. He was seeking love which none of his parents give to him. This is the outcome if u neglect ur child.
@@shinjid3705 Yes, true. But I don’t think it’s entirely the parents fault. His grandma loved him and when she died - he did something really weird, a normal kid wouldn’t do that to a parental figure. Killing animals and making up a god might’ve also been a sign of mental illness, specifically a Cluster B disorder. While his parents being more loving and less strict might’ve soothed the situation - I don’t feel like it could’ve entirely prevented it.
When i was watching this i felt so disturbed by the boy’s actions especially his disrespect to the people he killed and his grandmother. It is definitely one of the most messed up cases I know so far
@@DoggyP00 M*sturbating infront of a picture of a deceased relative? Oh yeah definitely. I remember rubbing one out after putting my dog down 3 years ago.
That usually happens in Japan unfortunately but I’m sure people who live there and understand how horrible it is don’t make his life easy, including the press
People like him don't just stop killing. It's an impulse, a need even. You can't tell me he hasn't hurt or killed anyone since. Releasing these people back into the public is dangerous.
@@hagelslag9312 I do agree with it but the thing is people can change y'know? I guess getting help mentally can attribute for things like this not to happen again.
Yeah, they did this with two boys in England (the infamous case where the two kidnapped and tortured this toddler) and in their adulthood they got in trouble over and over with possession of CP and other crimes.
The god "Bamoidokishin" could be the monster that eats humans and thrives on human sacrifices named "Brombhodoityo" it's an indian legend , and it's speculation but idk why the drawing and the description reminded me of this.
When I look that name up, I only get pictures of a movie that came out. I'm curious about this legend your talking about (of course I'm always curious about different cultures legends so, lol)
@@angelsinthewindow Brahmrakshas are the spirits a dead scholar of high birth, who has done evil things in his life or has misused his knowledge, who has to suffer as a Brahmrakshas after his or her life. The earth-bound duties of such a scholar would be to dissipate or impart knowledge to good students. As per ancient Hindu texts they are powerful demon spirit, who have lot of powers and only few in this world can fight and over-come them or give them salvation from this form of life. It would still retain its high level of learning. But it would eat human beings. They have the knowledge of their past lives, vedas and puranas. In other words they are part Brahmin and part demon. As they have extraordinary intelligence and there are not any natural slayers or killers of the Brahmrakshas, they do as they wish. But not all are evil as they want to attain salvation. A lot of Brahmrakshas have helped destroy other forces of natures or other Brahmrakshas that were Unfavourable to mankind. In order to show respect or satisfy their ego temples have made where you can give respect, offerings and thank them for helping you or not destroying you.
@@angelsinthewindow but the thing is it's deferent depending on your state , In my place we beleive them to be evil but in some places they beleive them to be not harmful , and ofcourse there is many other aspects that I have to leave out because of time and it's a comment section so take it with a grain of salt
@@CYRUSX1 Yeah can confirm, in Bengal, they are considered benevolent and not evil. Also in bengali folklore, they were mostly described as wise spirits protecting humans from more evil spirits like the Shakchuuni or Skondhokata
what the shit! this is insane, and I can't believe there aren't more comments absolutely disturbed by this case. He was only 14 doing this??? That's insane! I find it hard to belive it was just his grandmothers death which caused him to do this. There must be more..
Right?! Crazy that a child could be such a monster. This is one of the most horrific cases ever and i've only ever just heard of it now. This episode from akis series has freaked me out the most out of all of them ngl.
Ed Gein was so devastated about his mothers death that he started to dig up graves of women who looked like his mother and kept their bodies in order to make it feel like his mother was still alive. Jeffery Dahmer also would get sexually aroused by cutting up body parts. It is very possible that the death of this boy’s grandmother was the breaking point triggering him to start wanting to kill and hurt others. It’s also shocking that they released him into the public, once a psychopath starts killing they won’t stop. Sounds like a classic case of a psychopath who started at a very young age.
9:56 Ayaka's dad looks so heartbroken 😢. No parent should witness their child die. It reminds me of when my cousin died in a bike accident. Seeing my aunt and uncle at his funeral was the saddest thing i ever experienced.
It is sad to see cases like this. It has been proven that overly strict households can contribute to these types of emotions and behaviors. I myself come from a very strict Christian upbringing and I struggled with a lot of the same urges and emotions. The ammount of issues I deal with is pretty crazy the more I learn about them. However, I would rather die than become someone like this. I would rather take my pain and sorrow and use that as fuel to correct the things wrong with this world to protect others. You can choose to be the villain or the hero of your own story. Growing up my idols were Batman and other superheroes. Every time I had "dark urges" I would remind myself of what Batman endured and remind myself of Bushido. My heroes growing up and Bushido helped save my life and give me purpose. I am now looking to apply to a graduate program in Economics so I can work towards righting the wrongs of society and preventing innocent children from falling victim to circumstances like this. I hope that my work can improve the homes of people everywhere so that children can get the love and attention they deserve and need. If my work can save even one soul then all the pain I have endured will have been worth it. So, you can be driven into becoming a demon or be driven by your demons to be something better. In other words, you can hurt others to derive some sort of sick pleasure, etc., or you can use your hatred and direct in a healthy manner toward the ills of society and set out to change it, to help protect others. I choose to protect.
hikkikomori can be so extreme, it's honestly scary how the same pressure exist these days, as parents can end up adding parts to their house just so the family can live in peace, the hikkikomori may never get out of the state and never leave
Back in 2020 I read a manga titled " boku no namae wa shounen A " that supported the thesis of shounen A being innocent and tried to get the readers to sympathize with him , I don't know the author's true intentions for making this manga maybe he thought it was an interesting concept and made it into a work of fiction for the sole purpose of intertainment ( I didn't know there was an actual murderer with same name irl back then) but it's concerning that popularizing killers and treating mental illness as a trend is the norm in our societies today . This carelessness would prove fatal in encouraging people who are messed up in trying their luck , and it already happened sadly
@Recliner -Rider I do believe that as well , but I'm talking about person who are experiencing mental health issues and such and how these ideas will manifest and grow in their subconscious . of course I am no expert in this matter , these are just my thoughts on how delicate and dangerous the human psych can be if pushed .
I've heard of some sick puppies in my lifetime, but this dude tops them all. If he'd committed such crimes in the United States, he'd have been given the hottest seat in the house.
I’m sorry you went through some trouble, Aki. I kind of wondered why they stopped, but I was hoping you do another one someday. This series is hard-core, dude.
Yeah, I think sometimes we have to put away the thought, that children or teens would never do stuff like this...because sadly something like this can happen
I’m so glad this series is back and alive.. I’m so curious and intrigued with the crimes that had happened in Japan and how crazy it can be, even though Japan is a highly secure country… it’s crazy how things had changed. I know there are still some hidden crimes happening in Japan at any time without us knowing, but still find it insane how different it is and how deep this can be. Keep up the good work Detective Aki!!
I've researched Bamoidokishin after watching this and everywhere I've found information on it, I'm guessing it loosely translates to "God killer" or "Killer God" or "God of Killers" or "Killer of Gods."
Man should have gone about his fascination healthily and became a mortuary assistant or mortician. He could have even performed autopsies and studied among the medical field. But some people just aren’t that way :(
I had to pause when Aki said that Boy A idolized Ted bundy, and the Zodiac Killer the fact that he as a child idolized two well-known serial killers, makes my stomach turn just thinking about that just makes my skin crawl
No better way to spend this Halloween evening than sipping a cup or warm coffee, passing out candy, and watching Detective Aki🖤 also, my heart goes out to Jun and ayakas families :( 😞
i love this kind of stories but i also have severe anxiety. your way of telling them makes me feel safe tho, so thank you for allowing me to hear about all these cases
I hope you continue to do these videos as long as you enjoy making them and they don’t mentally exhaust you too much because I know true crime can be very stressful to constantly be consuming, but videos are so good and interesting! Love you Aki!
This is very Jeffrey Dahmer-esque (fascination with mutilating animals at a young age, sexual stimulation with his deceased grandmother, errr I'm not very sure if drinking blood counts as cannibalism or not but I will count it to further my point) behavior, which makes it almost hard to believe this kid was only 14 at the time...
This series is definitely a favorite. You show so much respect throughout the videos, and it's done in a very informative way! It is very sad to me though, that people like this exist. :(
I'm wondering how the parents didn't seem to know their son was harming animals, let alone reading books that were clearly not appropriate for his age. Also, how did they not notice what he was doing in regards to his Grandmother? Like, were they just not home alot? I truly don't understand
I can’t believe it's been so long since the last episode of these series. I'm so happy that you brought them back and I hope that there will be another episode at some point, too! 😊
The crosshairs symbol was, given the name Zodiac, actually supposed to be a Grand Cross, a phenomenon when the celestial bodies that represent different western zodiac signs align with the Earth at 90 degree angles with one another.
Amazing researching work as always!! What a horrible case, and to think that he was so young when he did what he did... Remember to always check on your loved ones, you never know what kind of struggles they could be going through 😔
God I love these videos they are very interesting, was worried they wouldn't come back, this was very good to watch on Halloween and I'm so glad to see these videos are back and I hope nothing else happens with them to where you have to stop making them, keep up the good work! Happy Halloween 🎃👻
Ahhhh FINALLY! I love this series! Thank you for all your hard work!♥️ I would love the see Detective Aki talk about the Joji Obara case. That one is insane.
I'm glad I saw this series! I started watching it around a few months ago and I was so intrested in it and I started watching the series over and over again. I'm so glad this series is back!!
OMG aki thank you for bringing back one of my favorite videos for which i subbed to your channel!! it's sort of like an ASMR experience, would love it if you ever decides to do that :D As always great video and godbless!!
Yesss!!! i LOVE this series! Especially since in English at school we are studying killers for a peice of writing this is amazing timing! Glad it's back ❤️❤️❤️❤️
well this was definetely more on the freakier side of things, but i enjoyed the video aki, its honestly weirdly interesting hearing about these kinds of stuff and like the way those kinds of people think, would like to see more episodes one day
I love these series so much! I have a fasination with the Japanese culture AND I am really into true crime so Thank you so much for continuing these series 🌺 And also RIP to all the victims :((
seeing the little scene of aki being a detective in black and white thing then smash the table is adorable- like just the bongo cat? yeah like that and i absolutely love this series
Thank you for bringing this series back! As much as I love watching your research, I am literally hugging my plushie while watching this. May the souls of the kids Rest In Peace. 🙏🏼
i wish you hadn't described the killings in such detail, it was really hard to look at the pictures of the victims and just see them as they were. i understand that it's important to know how brutal and unforgiveable the crime was, as to not undermine the pain of the victim or the families, but i think a (verbal) heads up before you go into the details of their deaths would be a good addition to the show. for those reading this, i really do understand that true crime isn't for the faint of heart, but i like learning about how countries/states handle crime, how useful/useless law enforcement can be, if the culprit was sufficiently punished, what the families say/do to honor their lost loved ones, and especially how those around the time have helped/could've helped. i don't really like learning about the details of how the victim was mutilated before/after death, and i hope there are people out there who can understand. while i'll be somewhat oblivious to the details, i think a verbal warning beforehand would be telling enough.
Appreciation points for actually being decent and understanding. A lot of people would've just been mad about it and tell her not to do it at all. Instead you pointed something out and gave a suggestion without taking away a creators material. Bravo, friend
@@imrau i definitely agree! it should be a verbal warning as well, since sometimes i play true crime videos in the background, so i'd definitely miss a visual warning.
I will never understand the gut reaction to conceal or hide these stories. People need to KNOW how to identify these patterns of violence. THANK YOU for sharing these stories
You know, there was a time when I thought, maybe being interested in serial killers and true crime and even just in death itself was a red flag for me. And then I see things about people like this and think, no...I definitely just have a healthy respect for the darker aspects of the human existence because everything this boy did just disturbs me. The harming of animals is the worst for me because of the inherent innocence of animals. But, hurting other humans is pretty terrible too, especially children, even if he was basically a child himself. I hope the Japanese government really is keeping a very close eye on this guy and I hope he is in constant therapy because something is seriously wrong with him.
