Didn't matter? No Jon no Dragons. No survival. He acquired the army that made everything possible and played a big role in the fight. Is it he didn't kill the night king that ruined it?
@Ok, Groomer yes 8 seasons of build-up about the prince that was promised the whole reason for the fucking rebellion was because of the stupid prophecy and in the end someone who didn't have any relation to the white walkers killed their leader
Jon wouldn't be useless, he didn't kill the Night King (even when he deserved to do it) but he still defends Castle Black from Mance, later he saved the Free Folk, united the Free Folk, the Night's Watch and the North against the White Walkers and also convinced Daenerys to join the Great War with her armies and dragons, reuniting the Living Army, not to mention that he saved the realm from Daenerys' fury.
His mother was from the north, a house who’s slogan is winter is coming. His father was Targaryen, a house that ruled with fire. He definitely is the prince who was promised. And he got cheated from his destiny by a flying Arya 🤦🏾♀️
@@mohdrizwanyusuf9140 bro your a mad lad. The first person I’ve seen defending David Benioff and D.B Weiss honestly. I never mentioned the actress that plays Sansa… why did you bring her up? 😆
Feel like even though Arya killed the knight king it was all still only possible because of Jon Snow, without him they probably wouldn’t of all came together to fight the night king and they would of lost.
I remember when Dumb and Dumber said they didn't want to pick Jon to be the one to kill the Night King because it would be too obvious and didn't want to make him the basic fantasy hero but forgot that the ENTIRE show hyped him up to be the CHOSEN FANTASY HERO! Even George RR is writing Jon to be the main hero of the books. Like wtf? Jon would have been one of the best fantasy heroes belonging up at the top, like Aragorn and Luke Skywalker.
@@MRJTD99 definitely. So it's unfortunate how Martin could accept this. I mean go ahead and make that weird kid and his sister king and queen but give some peace to Jon and Dany. Probably let them go to Essos where they rule in Meeren or something like that! But no... They had to make Daenerys an Mass murderer and throw the rightful king beyond the wall
Dude.. Luck skyworker .. Люк скайвокер, Джон Сноу.. Дарк Вейдер и король ночи... Это все из одной вселенной только в разные времена.. И только Брюс Ли и Джеки Чан.. Роберт ле Ниро, Аль Пачино.. In a perfect world, Jon snow gets a 3-5 min perfect fight vs the night king, Jon snow slowly loses the battle, loses his balance, drops his sword, and out of survival instincts, pulls out the valerian dagger and kills the night king.
I will never understand NEVER WILL I EVER understand why it wasn’t Jon who killed the night king, this is so MADDENING still after 4 years I’m still pissed off.
I love HOTD and I like GOT because we were trying to see if it'd be jon or Danny and they were showing these different interpretations. Jon snow is literally ice and fire
I would LOVE if they have a scene in the Snow spin-off where Jon does a seance or takes a potion where he hallucinates meeting Viserys or any of the Targaryens from the HOTD era.
@@amansinghrollno-7167 Dany was the only fireproof Targaryen in both the show and the books - although she’s only been shown to be immune to fire twice in the books.
@@shazpever6420 I said she was immune to fire only twice in the books. Which is true. Once when her dragons were born (she stepped into Khal drogo’s pyre) and once when drogon came to rescue her from the fighting pit where he burns away her hair.
bruh its dany. the first book literally started with the others (ice) and ended with dany (fire). she is azor ahai by the end of the first book (the azor ahai prophesy came later in the story). drogo was nissa nissa. his chest was cut/wounded and dany placed drogon's egg on drogo's heart meaning drogon in light bringer. also jon is an manufactured chosen one purposfully sought out and made possible by rhaegar who believed "if he isn't the chosen one, then the 'chosen one' is one of his 3 children" he tried creating the 3 heads of the dragon via elia's 2 children and lyanna stark son (jon) when in actual fact... the prince was his little sister who was yet to be born. Bloodraven, Aemond, Rhaegar & melisandra with their limited perspective and access to information are led to believed it Jon/Aegon (of their father). That fact that rhaegar didn't consider, it could have been one of viserys' future kids also goes to show how adamant he was about the saviour only likely to come from his bloodline, rhaegar was obsessed. By the time Aemon discovered the truth is was on death's door step and was in no position to do anything This is why information is important and it might be this reasoning that is used to prop up Bran in the end.
Wait. Rhaegar was just killed at the river, then Lyanna was in labor at the tower, because she had just had Jon before her brother got there. Dany, was born at their ancestral home, which Rhaegar's mother had escaped to, maybe right at the start of the war? Dany was born right before they had to flee across the sea on a ship, but I think her mother died in childbirth in Dragon stone. So Dany might have been born slightly before Jon... Who was born first? We're they possibly burn the same day? I feel like Dany might have come first. Oh.. I had to research it. Apparently the timeline is messed up and that's why it's hard to make sense of it in my head. Jon is supposed to be 8 or 9 months older than Dany, but that math doesn't actually math, and they should actually be even closer in age than that.
Well the prophecy is about her so not really. I assume you didn’t read the books or you skipped the prophecy of the promised prince When the red star bleeds and the darkness gathers Azor Ahai shall be born again amidst smoke and salt and shall wake dragons out of stone

People complain how Jon didn't defeat the Night King. But he did manage to bring everyone together so he was defeated. No one else but he could do that.
@@Th_Ppptmstr ehh show was obviously wrong he didn’t end the long night (if you consider one night battle as long) arya did then he kept saying i don’t want it honestly jon wasn’t same after his resurrection
@@achikoputuridze726 In HOTD they say that the prince that was promised would unite all men and lead them through the long night. That's exactly what Jon did.
@@Th_Ppptmstr show ruined it, Jon wasn’t the prince, he didn’t wake the dragons from the stones and didn’t united Westeros. Daenerys did, she brings armies from Essos and her allies from Westeros! But then Arya flying girl killed the night king. I hate this stupidness
@@amina1295 Danerys didn't create the army to fight the night king. She fought that war for Jon.If not for Jon,Danerys would have gone to kings landing because she wanted to regain her throne.
I really sucks how in HOTD and GOT they hype up the long night along with the threat of the white walkers and the prophecy of the prince that was promised only for it to be massacred in the final season
Arya Stark is the prince that was promised, not Jon. (for some reason). The dagger that alicent cuts rhaenyra with is Catspaw. Which absorbs the blood of Rhaenyra through blood magic, giving it it's ability to kill white walkers, more spcifically the Night King.
Man d&d really screwed up huge!! I hope the books will make justice on this plot point. Hopefully my great grandchildren get to read it when it comes out.
Mindblown by the fact how many people in this comment section aren’t aware of the fact that we’re getting a Jon Snow Spinoff. It makes this prophecy still very relevant.
they ruined it for him. it was so obvious he was the prince that promiced all along. ice and fire? hello? stark-targaryen child. they literally killed the whole story and left us with no sense. he was supposed to be the king while he just said YOU ARE MAH QUEEN
If only if it actually meant anything the whole ice and fire prophecy was clearly for Jon against the Whitewalkers but they ruined it and had Mary Sue Arya steal what should have been Jon's destiny.
