This project has been in development since last year and I've been putting it off to the side so many times that I didn't think I was ever going to finish it, but I'm so glad I did. Jon Snow has always been the hero Westeros needed, but never deserved. His story has been one of the many plot lines in this show that has kept surprising me time and time again, and I can't express how amazed I've been so far with his character. His selflessness, goodness, and honor lead him to not only unite the Free Folk and the North, but to also be named the King in the North. Not only is he not truly a bastard, but he is also the rightful King of Westeros and he doesn't even know it yet (which still drives me crazy lol). I have always said this time and time again: "The greatest heroes never see themselves as one" and Jon has always been that way. From an insecure, angry boy, to a determined, passionate, and inspirational man to lead the greatest fight Westeros will ever know.
Here's to Jon Snow of the Houses Targaryen and Stark, first of his name, King of the Andals, the Rhoynar and the FIrst Men, Lord of the Seven Kingdoms, Protector of the Realm, the Resurrected, the Prince that was Promised, Lord Commander of the Night's Watch, Lord of Winterfell, Warden of the North, King in the North, Beater of Bastards, Friend of the Free Folk, and the knower of nothing!

I have like a super oddly specific way I want GOT to end The war with the white walkers is over Jon kills the nights king and the battlefield celebrates. Very soon After Danny gives birth to a her and Jons baby (and they name him Rhaegar after his dad.) then the cut to winterfell wherewe have a crowning ceremony. The red keep is full to its max with people. Sansa Arya bran bron Jamie Tormond the hound Brienne and the whole cast are there and we have a somber moment as Jon walks into the throne room with his son in his arms. Tyrion is standing by the throne and the crown is on it. Jon walks over, hands baby rhaegar to Sansa then looks at tyrion. Tyrion turns to the people and says "the people of the seven kingdoms faces the largest threat it's ever seen and in that time there was only one man to turn to, this man lead armies on what many would have believed to be a winless war and yet after the sacrifices of countless brave men we stand here victorious. I now present to you, his grace. Aegon of the houses Targaryen and Stark, sixth of his name. The king of Andals, the first men and the free folk. Lord of the seven kingdoms and protector of the realm. The slayer of the white walkers and the army of the dead, the white wolf, the resurrected, the sword in the darkness, The conqueror of the Nights king and the bringer of the dawn. The prince who was promised, all hail the rightful king of the seven kingdoms and the realms of the free folk, King Aegon!" The whole time the stark theme is playing in the background, while Jon looks super uncomfortable with all his new found names.

Jon Snow is by far the best Game of Thrones character. He has the best storyline and the best characteristics of a tragic hero. I don't think Jon is going to have happy ever after but he will be revered as the Prince that was Promised who saved the world from the cold clinches of death and despair. I want to see Ice reforged and turn into Lightbringer by the end of the series. That would be so epic!

so you think Prince that was Promised means what? Jon will rule? He saved the world from the Others (ice) and Dany (fire). how is the prophecy not fulfilled? if it even matters. Martin says himself, prophecy is not necessarily real or interpreted correctly. the story is just how flawed humans act, or not, with the information they have.

I was watching a video the other day saying how stupid Jon was to tell cersi that he sided with Dani. To me that was a amazing scene. Yes he could've lied and decided to play the game like all the other rats of kingslanding. But he didn't he stayed loyal and told the truth when a lie was best. In our own world we are so use to politicians and world leaders lieing that we don't trust nothing they say. This hits you right in the chest. What George R.R. Martin and HBO have done with this series, and this character is nothing short of monumental. I've never feared for any character in any creative medium like I have with Jon Snow. The ultimate story of a bastard spit upon his entire life, to be destined for greatness. Jon should've killed the NK. He and Arya could've fought the White Walkers together, but after all of the build up we deserved to see he and Jon fight. Cersaei should've been dealt with at the end of Season 7. Season 8 should've been devoted to the long night and its conclusion.

That foreshadowing! everyone blowing it off as "Not having his name because he is a Bastard", when in fact he didn't have his name cause he is from a different House and having Ned's blood via his sister.... If you watch that scene again after knowing Jon's history, it is obvious keeping the secret of Jon's heritage, is eating Ned alive from the inside. Lies are the Bane of Honorable Men. Really makes my head hurt writers with level of skill ruining the 8th season. You would think even following the book for 5 seasons, some of Georges talent would rub off on the show writers.

The song of ice and fire was supposed to be Jon's story from start, aegon's prophecy said, from his Lineage, the prince that was promised will be born, he'll unite 7 kingdoms and lead the battle against common foe in north, and his will be song of ice and fire, not exactly this, but very similar Also ice and fire signifies, stark(ice-->winter) and targerian (fire), but... Season 7 and 8 happened

That's some damn good editing! I imagine this took a considerable amount of time to piece together, sifting through the entire GOT video library. Did you use 1080p clips for all the footage? He's Arryn at heart really. Ned Stark was raised by Jon Arryn, before that Starks were monsters. Ned's sense of duty and honor came not from house Stark, but house Arryn.

Never thought about Ned being an Arryn but I disagree, Ned was always more quiet and reserved, and his brothers, who never stayed with Jon Arryn turned out to be great people... well Ned's older brother, Brandon was a little wild and so was Lyanna but Benjen? The young wolf was always well behaved and honourable without Arryns

love Jon... he may be the prince that was promised, but Jamie is Azohr Ahai... he fulfills the prophecy better than anyone. If he does what he should in the books and maybe the show now..(kill cersei, the love of his life, even though he hates her now) his damn hand will set fire lol as well as his blade and HE will lay down the NK's army... Plus he fufills the valonqar prophecy when he kills cersei as he is her younger brother by seconds...
