@@aliceherselffbecause I love them, and I can’t live without them. Even if that means me not being happy, at least they are. It’s mainly due to me missing my old childhood home from the 90s in a whole other different country. Haven’t seen it in person for 23 years now. The country only recently allowed Google street view so I only have my memory of how it looked all the way back in 2001 to now. I just miss, everything about then. I’m happy here where I am now. But countless nights I keep selfishly wishing I was a kid again.

@@Pilps A little word of advice. I’ll be happier in another place. Doing something different. Loving someone new. That’s the lie we tell ourselves. If you always think your happiness is somewhere else, it’ll never be where you are. And you’ll spend the rest of your life, chasing something you already had.

Time moves fast as you go with it. "The quote: We are like butterflies who flutter for a day and think it is forever." by Carl Sagan in some aspects is true. But in the sense of memories and nostalgia, they feel like a blip. These past few years feel like they never existed because of how they feel so fast. But if you look back at the total length of your life you've had right now, then compare that to the life expectancy you have now! Everything seems old now, but will be much older later. So hold onto those precious memories, even if they feel so fast. Because memories to be made are more important than ones that have been. In a nutshell, just accept growth. Its better to embrace it like a gift, rather than a curse.

I miss everything about the early 2000s, now im almost to the point of getting a drivers license, getting into high school. The simplicity was amazing now im constantly stressing about what i could be diagnosed with next, i wish i couldnt get old.

Sometimes I feel stuck in the past, 15 years ago. I'm 30 and I use to omagine how good life was in my high school days. But then I realize that life can be good anytime, anywhere, you just have to be yourself, and although it sounds a clichè, it is true. Its was real joy & happy back then. Playing PS1 pixel video game with my brother & friends after School. Playing at the playground when there's no smartphone. A wholesome chatting with friends on the grass after soccer game. Skip the glass together with friends, get caught by the teacher and canned, hurt but we laugh 20 years later, Friends are getting further, 10 become 5, 5 become 3, 3 become 1 Stress at work cuz we need a job to keep the shit going on Salary pay to the taxes, loans, commitment. Always want to face the life with a simple and naive mind but life keep fuck me up everyday Grown Up sucks
