You're the only one on RU-vid that can make it look like the wash mitt has a water/soap hose hooked to it lol. Very satisfying. Great job as always buddy. Hope you enjoyed your break.
Great video! A suggestion. It’s spring, and summer is approaching pretty soon. Not a lot of people are watching TV at least in Canada. They want to take advantage of the warm weather. So I suggest to trim the length of the video to not more than 15 mins. At the same time keep the 60fps speed and please don’t sped up the video by 2x. Thanks, Rick.
Just when I thought your videos couldn’t get any better, you surprise me with this one! Excellent quality Rick and that is a STUNNING color. Keep up the great work!
Glad to hear about the collaboration between you and Gyeon. Means that your channel get some attention which it so much deserve as we have talked about before :) Keep on going with what you do!
Excellence as usual, Rick. I hope the weather is finally breaking for you! I coated a 2022 Mazda CX9 with Gyeon Mohs... I ordered Gyeon Bathe, Cure and WetCoat for him so he can maintain the paintwork and he raves about how easy it is to keep clean!
You touch on a key point here. If you have the products to keep the coating as fresh as possible, it should pay huge dividends. I'll have to ensure this owner has the right products to do just that.
Wow Rick that one is an absolute masterpiece 🤩! One of my top 3 car and my favourite products and boom, bullseye !!! According to me, one of the best videos you ever made. I think that colour is called Ultra Blue and it really fits that big butted beast like a glove 😋 Gyeon MOHS (SHOW backwards indeed) gives her such a deep gloss highlighted by the piano black and carbon parts. Thanks for sharing that with us Rick ! It really made my Sunday ending the best way possible. Take care my dear friend and stay RAD 🤘🤘🤘 Love the wool cap by the way 😎 Gregg
congratulations , very whimsical editing in the exquisite videos , very careful with the details, I have been following for a long time , I really like your videos , a hug from Brazil for you 🇧🇷
Amazing work Rick. The music, the movement and your garage environment is remarkable. I really enjoyed the video with my Starbucks coffee. Waiting for more BMW M cars video from you Rick. Double thumbs up 👍👍😊
Thanks! I do think the garage environment adds a lot of visual appeal to my videos. I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks like this. The more BMW M-cars I welcome into my world, the more I want one so I have to be careful! Thanks for joining me on this project.
Two week spring break! Wow. We got our 2 days reclaimed as school days because we had so many snow days this winter. At least we get this Friday off for Good Friday, so I’ve got a truck coming in for an interior that should make for a great video. Nice video as always. I’m looking forward to starting to offer some ceramic coatings this summer.
Yes, we get an extended Spring Break at my school since we have a shortened summer break. By the way, we NEVER get snow days here. In my entire life, NOT ONE! I hope you enjoy your truck project and I agree, I am looking forward to more coating projects this summer as well.
@@RADGarage Wow. No snow days. We are in a very rural area out on the prairies so with the winds, some roads become unpassable.... and not everyone has snowmobiles :) most of the students do, but not the teachers... Are you on the 10 and 2 academic calendar? 10 weeks on and two weeks off with only July off for summer break?
We are on what is called the modified schedule. 6 weeks for summer, 2 for Christmas, 2 for Spring Break, and a week of in the Fall. I did teach in NZ years ago and they have the 10 on, 2 off and I found 10 straight weeks a real challenge!
@@RADGarage That sounds like a decent schedule. Yeah, we have about 10 weeks straight coming up with only one or two days "off" due to holidays. Gonna be a long spring!
YESSSS!!!! The season has started for our Rad. And what a way to start! Love the way of filming and the relaxing music is so nice! Welcome back from the wintersleep! Dutch greetings.....
Another fantastic video Rick Gyeon Q2m Foam has to be my favourite prewash I noticed you used it in one of your older videos and tried it now I’m hooked on Gyeon products which at the end of the day is what the goal is to get the product noticed and it works. Agree the guys at Carzilla are fantastic great team. Beautiful car man that’s a head turner. 👌🏻🇨🇦
Nice work Rick Gyeon really knows how to make their products look beautiful, and they work too wich is nice. Would have liked to watch you do the interior also
I found out that washing the car with several micro fiber towels instead of only one wash mit will step up your detailing job and provide an extra scratch free wash!! P.s. your videos are amazing. Keep up the good job.
Hi Rick! Hope to see more interesting videos from your break from school! Gyeon Foam is a GREAT pre wash snow foam, it really has amazing cleaning power; it is definitely one of my favorite snow foams.
Hello, your videos are GORGEOUS as always, it's a pleasure to watch the videos you create, but besides that, you also show what products you use and how you work with them, thank you so much,,, ONLY GO AND SUCCESS TO YOU .. SUNNY WEEKEND TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY...☕️☕️
Thank you so much! I have really enjoy featuring the products in visually creative ways. After all, the products are the main reason I enjoy this kind of work so much. I am sad to report that we got hit with a nasty little snow storm last night, so this RS6 won't be staying this clean for very long! But, at least the coating will help the owner maintain it year-round.
That blue is beautiful. Really has some nice pop to it. Great job as always Rick, look forward to the next! I've been going back in time on your channel during the downtime over the past few months. I think I'm 3 or 4 years ago now!
Fantastic job Rick, what a beautiful car and colour👍. You have definitely worked your Magic on this one. I recently purchased a VW R - Golf in a similar colour and i couldn't be happier with it. I too love Gyeon products they are so good to work with. Thank you Rick for sharing and have a great week.😊
Congratulations on the Golf R! That is a great car. If it is anything like the Ultra Blue on this RS6, I'm sure it looks amazing. Then again, those cars seem to look good in any colour. Thanks for dropping by!
I appreciate that. The products are the stars of the show. Obviously, the car is important but the procure make it all happen. I’m always happy to showcase them.
Glad you caught it. I have always been impressed with the Gyeon stuff. Carzilla introduced me to line a long time ago and it seems to have steadily attracted more and more attention, and for good reason.
I love wagons and this thing is one of the best. Great color and an amazing job, Rick! Gyeon Mohs is the easiest coating I have used and I really enjoy working with it.
Ahhhh... a much-needed dose of Rad Garage Therapy.... love that Audi blue! I'm sure the owner will be amazed at the results. Another home run, Rick, keep up the great content, and enjoy your Spring Break!
I really appreciate that. In a world of Tik Tok, I think there is still a place for full-feature videos that tell a complete story. Your time and attention is greatly appreciated. 🤘
I was so pumped when I saw you dropped a new track at the same time I was looking for music for this video! This car is an absolute rocket ship. I hope life is treating you well, my friend.
I love it!! I’ll binge all your videos. I am with you on this avant, it’s my number one dream car. I’m super blessed I’ll be able to drive one in a few weeks as well
Really spectacular job Rick. Your videos give me such joy, especially since I’m too sick to detail my daily anymore. Luckily, I found a great detailer who takes care of my daily every 3 weeks. That blue really pops. I actually own a blue car and my IG is dedicated to blue cars. Thank for the drop.
I’m sad to hear your ability to derail your own cars has been impacted by your health. That day will come for all of us. Sounds like you found a good detailer so that’s great. RU-vid certainly has no shortage of detailing videos for you to enjoy. I’m grateful for the time you spend enjoying mine. Stay RAD dude.🤘
As always, your vids are so good. We are getting spoiled. The winter is stil clinging on to my part of the world. Gyeon is definitely one of my favourite brands, I use quite a lot of their products. Glad that they have found you and are supportive. Take care.
Gyeon offers such an extensive line, and I don't find they load up their line with a bunch of unnecessary and gimmicky products. Great company and they have been awesome to me.
I agree with you Rick, the RS6 is one amazing looking car and you made it looked even more amazing. Hey maybe you'll end up replacing your SQ5 to a RS6 one day 🤞🏻👍🏻. Have a great week 🙋🏼♂
I just don't know how I would be able to deal with such a huge monetary investment in a car and then having to subject it to the harsh winter road conditions we face up here.
This is my dream car as well, and I cannot wait to grab mine and give it a detail like this, just take two days relax and get to know every inch of the car and protect every inch as well lol awesome video man, as always!
Hi Rick, another RAD quality job. I hope the holidays went well. It is for me the number 1 dream car without a doubt. As you know, I have a Ford Focus Station. only in a dream. stay well healthy 💪👍🇵🇹
Sadly, a car such as this is only a dream for me too. Even if I could afford one, I just can't see how I would be able to subject it to the abuse our roads cause our cars here.
I will be applying BC1 on Friday to a Tesla. Probably going to let it sit no more then 1 min. I really like his Metal Oxide coating but hoping this is a much more enjoyable and easier application and removal.
@@RADGarage also the job that you did on that RS6 is absolutely amazing! This is my dream car! Did the car not need any polishing prior to applying the coating?
The car was very well prepped by the dealership so there was no sense in doing another polish. The paint was completely free from any contaminants so it was just a matter of getting the paint as clean as possible and free from any residue.
Great car, we all know how you love Audi’s! It’s always interesting to see different processes of washing / detailing a car. What’s your consideration to not first pressure rinse the car before foaming? To take off already some loose dirt. Also interested to hear if there was any protection on the car already, or what made you not polish the car before applying the coating? Was the condition of the paint already that good? Genuinely interested 😊
Great questions. I don’t rinse prior to the foam because I feel like the foam needs to show me how good it is at loosening dirt. This car is barely a month old so the paint just needed a good cleanse. I contemplated doing a polish but it just didn’t require one. I don’t normally lay a coating on a car I haven’t prepped myself, but it just made sense in this scenario since the dealership did a fine job on their pre-delivery paint polish. I’m sure I’ll see the car back for a full correction in a few years.
@@RADGarage yes, seeing the dirt being lifted off the surface is a very satisfying sight, agree. All clear on the coating. I did a coating on a new car without polishing once before. Saves a lot of time and extra steps (taping etc). I do believe the coating lasts longer with cars that have been polished (smoother surface). But I guess there’s so many variables going into coating durability, hard to tell what the root cause was when on one car it lasts long than on the other.
I wish I knew the secret to attracting more views and subs. It has been frustrating at times, but I try to not worry about it and just focus on making videos that I am proud of.
Thanks for the compliment. I do enjoy putting the videos together and I’m happy to hear you see improvement in their quality. It can be tricky finding new ways to present it all.
Fantastic video dude. Whenever I see you rinsing and spraying water, I always think about your water catch basin. What's the capacity of that? Do you ever just let it overfill and flow out into the driveway?
I haven’t done an exact calculation, but it holds approximately 30 gallons which is a lot. There have been times where I thought “for sure, it’s full” and then I check and it’s not even 1/2 full.
Thanks. It’s always great to hear from first time commenters! I do my best to provide detailed overviews of the projects featured in the descriptions. In the case of this vehicle, it was well prepared by the dealer and the front was all PPF so there really was no need for any paint prep. No swirls or contamination detected.
@@RADGarage is the restart wash a good strip wash? I have a 1 year coating on my car and it's nearing the end of its life.. Wondering what would be able to strip whatever is left off of it.
@@asingh82 Personally, I think the only way to truly get your paint back to “raw” condition is with a polish and panel wipe. My use of Restart was because there may have been some minor contaminants on the surface of the paint. I couldn’t feel any, but I thought I’d use a soap with a bit of bite.
It was okay. Not sure I would do a double layer since the second coat seemed to struggle in terms of adhering. I felt like too much of it was wiped away. If that makes sense.
Yeah, I know what you mean. It set up faster on the PPF’d portions, but it took a while to flash on the primary coat. I waited six hours between coats.
This car should not be legal. it's way too cool. I use a ScanGrip iMatch headlamp. I think I am going to buy a second one for when the battery dies on the first one. It has a long working time, but never long enough! Great little lamp.
Beautiful job on a stunning vehicle, that is close to my ❤. Optioned pretty much the same as mine (black badging, carbon optics, and ceramic brakes). Did you find it "tight" getting a brush between the front rotors and the wheel?
I have found that the Speed Master Jr. brush will fit. You have a huge advantage over me, as I am vertically challenged. I have to use a step stool to clean the roof!
Like first, watch second.😂😂And speaking of Carzilla. That’s a 2 way street. They probably have the best selection of detailing product lines in the country and I buy probably 70% of my choices from them bc you speak so highly of them. Just so you know.👍🏻😎
That car is definitely among the sexiest wagons of all time! I hope to work on one eventually myself. Do you mind me asking what you charged for this job? And also how much ml of MOHS did you use per layer? Thanks.
I don’t reveal my charges because the RU-vid influencer angle factors into it too much. Since some of my products and equipment are generously supplied by supporters and affiliates, I can keep the cost low. If I was just relying on the customer to fully finance the project, this would have been at least double what I charged him.
