My brother in christ, are you 16 or something? RoN while being a good game and going extra mile with the tone (in current state of media it is) is defiantly not the first or the only game like this. Honestly i criticise the game for weak narratives and underdelivered climax on SOME of the missions. Its just a bit inconsistent sometimes. Gotta say tho that the mission at port is probably strongest one in the game
you live a life of complete delusion if your first taste of human depravity is through a video game. i hope you take this serious response to this benign comment to heart and work on developing a better understanding of the current situation of the world.
this was the first time there was an actual vocal lore drop in game besides the Briefings and the 911 calls. Felt like the character interactions meant something, giving that judge was distressed about having to close the door, and the FISA agent being a little suspicious. I'm no federal agent but i don't think that's standard procedure? almost as if they're in on it.
@@rustiboy1144 The horror truly begins when you realize that the USG is the biggest customer of human trafficking.Sound of Freedom talked about this.RoN is too on the nose with their missions.
@Psy1-1 oh yeah, I know. What makes it better is you play a swat officer, just doing his job, not some know all FBI HRT guy, so when it goes down and you're told to obey or be criminalized there's nothing you can do. Join to make a difference, find you cant.
I’m so happy the devs are willing to go into such dark topics. It’s not only a unique story on every mission, but they interlink. With other missions and how dark our world really is. Such a damn good game
I worked as a SWAT Officer after I served in the US Army, and I'll say this. The things I have been told to keep quiet about are deep. I've seen grown men cry because of it.
I am just a civilian, with "some" involvement with federal "lawfull" technical work. I did and let a lot o shit happen, i did good things like being part of some good arrest but still.. The only thing i can say is, the world is not black and white and i am not sure if i am a good guy anymore.
Man I believe you met a former colleague a few months ago by chance, we talked, last time i saw him he was getting ready to become a layer in Mexico, now he owns a convenience store, he said he had to quit after being selected to review video tapes for witness testimony, he told me how he has seen the most evil $h1t done to kids, that the devil is real, one week in he begged to be let go but had to pin a new guy down and "set him up" for him to be set free
@@l.r.j.r.6356 i did my work with brazil federal police, you want to know the difference between mexico cartels and brazilian cartels? Nothing, the only difference is the high goverment help them by giving leeway to do what they want even terminate investigative work completelly just to help then, and no reporter talks about it since either they are paid or fear for theirs life. Like i say i did some work with federal work as a cyber expert with then and got told to "shut up" many times, but still i will keep trying to join the federal police not all of them are corrupt just powerless to keep the work.
@@Nature-556 There is commander mode where you go through the levels in order and if one of your officers(or you in ironman mode) dies they are out for good, and they also have mental states so they can become stressed and quit.
The thing I love about Ready Or Not is the disturbing lore about some missions. When you load up the game and get into the mindset of a SWAT/QRF team, you already know shit has hit the fan, and something has gone horribly wrong. The mission could be a drug bust, a hostage situation, counterterrorism, or worse. It gives regular people a deeper understanding and appreciation for the actual people who have to do this job and the mental strain it takes.
I thought those women were gonna turn into some monsters which is why they were ordered to close the door, then I realized it's more messed up because it's Ready or Not which tackles realistic stuff, so this was most likely human trafficking
This game had guts, and it's a good thing too. People will talk about how disgusting or inappropriate this is to show in a game, but these are the things that are going on worldwide. If you want the games to change, then make a change in the world.
RON is the only game that shows the true horror of being a first responder you’re not a superhero or some god you’re a human who wants to go home at night and you have to make your way through chaos and hatred to do so.
was pretty much anti-police my entire life (witnessed a lot of corruption). This game is almost the first time i feel empathetic towards the cops. Masterpiece
@@user-fp1nd4cb6k Everyone should remember, however the general image is portrayed, at the end of the day they’re all individuals just trying to live. No different from one another other than how they decide to contribute.
Лучший эдит который я видел Ощущения как будто в первый раз прохожу миссию. Почитав комменты, понял, никто не знает, что этого агента задерживают в одной из миссий
its worth it, i just finished a few days ago and the campain took me abt 20 hrs to finish (btw the mission (with you fighting against fisa) the edit is in is the last mission)
@@abhiramsunilkumar2853Nope,the devs deserve every single penny. They are Indie devs, which is what makes it more surprising, considering the quality of the game. You shouldn't pirate indie games(on a moral basis).
@@nevergonnagiveyouup-2012 yes they deserve every penny but there are people who doesnt have money or kids who are not allowed to borrow money for games
And Remember the dude in lethal obsession is a former agent too so god only knows what he saw when he was in active service before they started labeling him as a Lunatic
now i really want a full fledged campaign, with cutsences and stuff (kinda like cod) where the characters arent just characters, although i know that wont happen cause thats not the kinda game it is, but that would go crazy
From what I remember there is a replay option for missions so you can have better shots for different scenes instead of having it only from the first person, just an idea though
