Y’know one of the things that was great about this relationship was that neither was the “damsel in distress” they pulled each other out of the fire more times than you could count. They relied on each other and they never thought less of the other. I just finished watching the SGA episode where Wolsey and Jack are stuck on Atlantis with human form replicators. At the end of the episode he thanks the Atlantis squad for the rescue but says next time bring Carter. He knows and fully trusts that if he needs someone to pull him out of the fire and it seems hopeless not only will she try she’ll find a way and they’ll make it out together.
I miss the show too 😔 They help me to support my mom with cancer, Stargate become my shelter ❤️ Hope you're fine, be strong and never forget that you're a soldier ❤️
My all time favorite couple in a TV series ❤. Carter was my idol when I was an insecure teenage girl and was picked on at school for being too much of ”a geek”. Watching Stargate really helped me get through some tough moments back then.
Oh my goodness wow I grew up watching this show and these two were one my first ever OTP before it was even a thing love that people are still making these
@@french_gaters7338 would you ever consider using fortress by bears den in an edit for these two its such a beautiful song give it a try lyrics : I don't think anyone will ever love anyone the way I loved you It's so sweet
"A lot more than I'm supposed to..." "Always" BROOO THIS DAMN NEAR MADE ME CRY😭😭😭❤❤❤😩😩😩 I love these two so damn much, i wish we got to finally see them together and happy. Janet saying " is this gonna be a problem?" Brought back an issue amount of nostalgia😩 not quite done with season 9 yet and already wanna start from the beginning again. I like cam but miss jack so much he was the heart of sg1
This is literally the best Sam & Jack video! I've watched it close to a 100 times and it doesn't get boring. You chose perfect scenes and the song is the cherry on the cake. Just leaving a huge compliment here. I'm a longtime Stargate fan and your video is just amazing. Thank you so much ❤
Best series ever and if the make a new one they best stay true to form. No woke garbage. Friendship and character with good meaningful story is what we need.
I didn't have the chance to watch SG1 on cable though I finally caught up with it some 20 years later. On my 3rd time though but I really appreciate this video, thanks!
Just watching Stargate SG-1 here in the UK(again). Brilliant video, the relationship that we all wanted, got pretty close in the episode, There but for the grace of God, and even closer in, Point of View(beutifully played by RDA and Amanda. In reality though, it could never have worked, no matter how much we would have liked. How about this one, how about Daniel and Janet(Fraiser)? Wouldnt have been a problem, Daniel wasnt in the military, and After her death, Daniel would have looked after Cassie.
@@louisehine1 I have just watched the season four episeode, Divide and Conquer. The ToK'ra are formalising a treaty with Earth, when a majoor goes beserk and kills several ToK'ra before vbeing killed himself. The Goa'ld have managed to turn people into assassins, detection is virtually impossible, the only hope is a machine which probes the mind, but is incredibley dangerous. Jack and Sam are suspected of being turned into one of these assassins, but when probed they are shown to be lying, proof that they are under mind control. Then, Sam realises why, and confronts Jack, and asks him why he would not leave her when they on a Gou'ld ship, and under tghe probe, the truth emerges, he says, "i would rather have died, than lived without her". He is asked why, and says, because i care about her, a lot more than i am supposed to". Alone, both of them aknowledge their feelings for each other, and agree what they have said, must not leave this room. Which begs the question, whats the problem? You have two officers who have have feelings for each other, they carry out their proffessional duties with no issues, then, when they aknowledge their true feelings, they still continue to serve together, without compromising the unit. So, why couldnt the writers have explored that, instead of insisting on this, "they must not admit their true feelings? Sorry about the novel Louise, but it just left me confused as to why the two couldnt explore this further.
I think they wanted to be together, but neither of them was willing to give up their careers. After Jack came back from retiring the first time, think he missed the Air Force, the action and he didn't want to give it up, not even for Sam. Carter, I know in the espiode"Grace" when she was on the ship by herself and "Jack" shows up, she says what if I quit the Air Force ,would that change anything, then Jack says would never ask her to give up her career. It was the relationship that should have been, but wasn't meant to be.
Arguably the best "not" romance in tv history. My favorite moment/episode is "The Broca Divide," where an infection makes the team (among others) animalistic and primitive. At the end, Sam asks if Jack remembers any of her behavior and he responds that he didn't remember anything as he was infected as well. He then asks about a stab wound she suffered. She responds, "With any luck, there won't be a scar." His reply, "Well good. I was concerned. If it doesn't heal properly you'll never wear that sweet little tank top number again." En la vida hay que saber quien daría.la vida por ti ,que es lo importante y que estas dispuesta a arriesgar por amor.!Yo si lo sé .la otra persona ya se verá
Yes, we got a glimpse of them together in two episodes, There but for the Grace of God, an alternate reality where they are engaged, and the episode, Point of View, where Sam and Kalwaskly(hope i have spelt that right), come from another reality where the Goual'd have taken over the Earth. Sam was married to Jack, who died defending the SG facility, and she sees another Jack, and even though its not her Jack, its still Jack. Very touching episode, they could have gone down the comedy route, but thankfully didnt.
The problem here is that you have two competing sound tracks - the words to the music and the words spoken in the scenes. The end result is that you cannot understand either one. Thus - if you wanted to understand the words from the scenes - you should have chosen an instrumental or better still - no music. If you wanted to understand the words to the music - you should have not included the sound track to the scenes. Using them together - each ruins the other. .
