My favourite ones are Truth, When The Music Dies and Hour Of The Wolf. :) Fun fact: Elnur participated in 2008 as part of a duet (he was the angel), and in 2015 as a soloist. :) He's got such a powerful voice.

I think Skeletons must be higher, and Hour of the Wolf definitely deserves top 3. Always on the other hand is a very generic and simple song. In fact I would switch your first and last songs :D
Really loving this idea of you reacting to all entries from a country! Even if it's just a short clip of every song, it's a fantastic way for us to get to see you react to a lot of great entries. As for Azerbaijan, I am in awe of Elnur's voice (2008 and 2015), but the best overall song, voice, and performance has to go to 2019's "Truth" by Chingiz for me. ♥ Followed very closely by 2016's "Skeletons", then 2015's "Hour of the wolf".

All their entries are enjoyable in my book :) My favourite would surely be Skeletons (2017), Dihaj deserved at least top 10! Another would be this year's Truth, Chingiz slayed and I just love whenever Azerbaijan sends their ethnic sounds 😍 My least favourite would be 2018 (yes not 2011, I love Ell & Nikki 😁). X My Heart sounds too generic for my liking.
loving the idea of this series, this way we will see most of the requests you had in your enormous pile. I will have to be very patient for you to get to my country, as Spain is nearly at the end. I loved 2017's Azerbaijan entry but my favourite one is 2009's "Always", it's a perfect eurovision song, ethnic vibes, dancing rythm, catchy song, charismatic singers, if I'm not wrong was 3rd place after Johanna and Rybak, not a bad result.

Elnur was Azerbaijan's representative to perform "Day After Day" at the Eurovision Song Contest 2008a long side Samir Javadzadeh as duo Elnur and Samir. And 2015, represented Azerbaijan in the Eurovision Song Contest with the song "Hour of the Wolf".
Elnur's opening vocals to Day After Day are INSANE. How he switches from almost operatic to rock vocals during a held note. It still gives me goosebumps after all these years. So talented.
"Always" from 2009 is still Azerbaijan's best entry in my opinion (they came 3rd after Norway and Iceland). You need to react to the full song. 2012 entry was also amazing (one of the few host entries better than the winner - finished 4th). You didn't mention it, but you did react to 2012 before.
About the last year entry. I saw somewhere that the song "X my heart" is actually about her dead husband who had cancer and the lyrics are about her living through it. About this new well "project" of yours, will you always react to such short snippets? I personally liked when you watched the whole songs like earlier. (Sorry for my bad english if there are grammar errors, my english is not so good, I'm from Bosnia)
Thank you for your compliment. About these reactions, I just wanted to say that this way in like 10 seconds you can't really see and react to a song that good. And I pesonally (and I think many others here) wish that you watch and see some of the greatest songs ever in ESC and not just 10 seconds of them :D
I looooooove the Winning song 'running scared" and I was so sure they would win, so I wrote Eldar and told him that I would book my flight before the Final. And so I did. I Think I was one of the only ones ( of the Danish fans) who believed in them....so I Got myself a very cheap flight ticket to BAKU. Just 3 Months after the ESC Final in 2011 the tickets were 30 % higher 😂 just some random fun facts
Stephen Moore It definitely has evolved so much. Eurovision is all about timing though, and I like to think that Running Scared winning opened the door for Loreen’s Euphoria to take the contest to a much higher level in Baku.✌️

I don't like only 2008 and 2018 And i think they shouldnt make it to the final in 2016 and 2008 + they winning song was forgotable in 2011 ....I love Dihaj, Sabina, Arash/Aysel, Farid 💛
Their first entry reminds me when Eurovision was just too camp. Just terrible. I am glad there are jury votes now, which rewards the songs with a certain quality and punishes songs which lack quality.
