I'm not polish but the song it's clearly ironic and I really liked it. And the vocals in my opinion were good. It's not easy to catch those high notes and to rap at the same time. Well done Poland! Love from Italy
And now russians took over her family home in Crimea (and I dont mean occupation of Crimea). My family (grandparents) went through similar events when they were exhiled to Siberia. And when they came back they had to buy out their own family home. This was a sad song about real events that so many could relate to then, in 2013, and so many more can relate to now.
It was my winner in 2000. Latvia became the 4th and last country that was my winner on its debut after Italy (1956), the United Kingdom (1957) and Hungary (1994).
This voice should conquer the world stage, but unfortunately the person who owns it was born in Poland, not in America or one of the Western countries.
She got talent and best voice ever no doubt even better that loreen that year. Sorry no question about it. Her energy transmit a lot emotion performed. ❤
If they can get Céline to perform this at the 2025 contest in Switzerland (now that Switzerland have just won again), I'll die happy. But I know that's a big if.
One of the most memorable ESC songs of the last 20 years. It's kinda genius in that it works both as comedy and as a super melodramatic operatic ballad. The "what are you doing man?" exchange made me fall to the floor laughing the first time I heard it.
