The problem of Cameroon is france! Second the failed government of Yaoundé led by the diseased biya and his gang. Now the killing of children in Kumba was committed by the government not Ambazonia supporters. They did it to justify their crime against our brothers in the South and North West of Cameroon. I believe Edwin Ngang provided the best argument. Democracy is not being practiced in Cameroon, and has never been practiced it has been a plain Monarchy. Succession is the answer. If a union occurred without European powers, this conflict would have never been. But you cannot plant bad seeds in the soil and expect to harvest good fruit.

I was in Cameroon when people went out on the 22nd September 2016 in MAMFE people were killed our house and car where burned military breaks people doorr arrests them locked at their bridgets and colect mmoney from them,my self i have suffered if not of God I would have been killed in my home.
The solution would be a new president who is not a puppet of foreign countries (France, China, UK.) A new president who will have Cameroonians’ best interest at heart. We as Cameroonians, are all victims of bad governance that bred issues like Tribalism, unemployment, and many more.

How much more of the world's culture has to be lost in the name of trying to conform to the western world and making money? They would be stronger linguistically separated actually. You are very correct. Unfortunately, I don't see any meaningful dialogue anytime with the position of the government of Cameroun. Not even the resolutions they took by themselves to solve the crisis is being implemented. More French speaking teachers (who rarely make a single correct English phrase) have been sent to the two Universities in the English speaking region at the detriment of the English speaking teachers, still seeking jobs. Human life is more important than seeking to stay in a toxic union. People of the world, please, help separate these people and let life continue. We are bleeding daily, far higher than official figures claim.
@AJStream, I think it is fair that each time you talk about the situation in Cameroon, you should clarify that this is a fight by the English speaking minority of Cameroon(former Southern Cameroons) against the government of Cameroon. That should help your viewers. The truth is that Biya regime does not like the force of argument but the argument of force. This explains why they keep refusing a mediated dialogue which is the only way out of the crisis. You cannot take a fully grown nation and turn it into some small two regions, destroy their Economy, destroy their democratic institutions and the UN having the truth on the table keeps quiet over their pains. Address the root cause of the Anglophone crisis instead of playing games with the lives of their innocent civilians.

In 1961 there was a referendum organised by the UN on the basis that the people from the two anglophone provinces who were governed as part of Nigeria which is a former British colony were marginalised by the Ibo majority. 60 years later, another generation repeats thesame complain but with a minority picking up guns hoping to instrumentalise the UN and the international community to pressure the government in place.. My question is , even if a referendum was conceivable wich Ambazonia is not a legal political party although is calling for one. What is the guarantee that the UN and the international community will not be called again to split the two provinces over yet another claim of tribalism and marginalisation as there seem to be patent in that direction..
That is an imaginary and unsubstantive question why because, we have governed ourselves before and when we deed, we effectively applied a representative democracy as the first in Africa and the most efficient. We had 4 successive governments from one to the other through the electoral process, without any conflicts. No country in Africa can claim that today, let alone Cameroon, who should have tamed dawn their ego to learn from us when we came together.

Ndoke and the parliament was in GRA Buea. our first priminister was a member of NCNC headed by Zik before 1954. All those who knows and experienced our history are still well and alive. You can't fake history. So my friend, I don't have to refer to any wikipedia because I know my history. Do you know that East Cameroonians needed a lesee passe to enter Ambazonia right up to 1968? You can't see that in wikipedia can you?

I have documents here attesting of the parliament of Enougou voting for budget for west Cameroon up till july 1961 when nigeria was already independent, and this in British pound, so the police and civil servants were still paid by Nigeria until Ahidjo took over.. you dont know what you are talking about..

The ever-aggravating armed conflict in Cameroon is not a civil war per se, Cameroon is a sharply polarised state; shared between the severely despised and marginalised English and the dominant French speaking Cameroonians. The battle between English speaking armed separatists and the forces of law and order exclusively takes place in the English speaking region with the casualties being beared by the English speaking Cameroonians. Summarily; Cameroon is a forced-union of two very diversed and polarised States pretending to be one.

I honestly wish that French would be the number one language over there in Cameroon. But I also wish that they would just get along and be mostly like Canada, but with more French instead of more English like in Canada
