Duplantis (pole vault WR holder) is Swedish-American, grew up in the US but still decided to represent Sweden in international competitions. And so the WR belongs to Sweden. Same thing's happening here, Lots of athletes deciding to retain their heritage - anything wrong with that?

@@Renegade_rm56 the problem is China doesn’t recognize dual citizenship but now it is promoting her as a Chinese sportswoman is a lie. Eileen Gu has breached common Chinese law, or you believe she doesn’t need to respect or follow the law

@@Raj-hg2dp your mind is not clear promoting her as a Chinese sportswoman is nothing wrong unless speaking she grew up in china as PRC citizen China's official did not declare her a Chinese citizen she just changed her nationality at the International Ski Federation choose to represent china being team china but i also think they should make it clear
