In Canada, we call the big ridged chips "wavy" and the smaller ridged chips "ripple." I much prefer the ripple style too!

I found recently that my local Asian market has the Numb and Spicy Hot Pot and Cucumber chips, and remembering this video, I opted to grab the hot pot chips (I couldn't remember if you liked the cucumber ones lol). They're absolutely incredible!! I'd eat like five bags of them in a row given the chance. They've got like the perfect amount of spice for me, and such an incredible flavor! I just wanna put that seasoning on everything.

We do. You just have to go to the foreign markets to get them. 😉 the good british and german chocolate is at the indian and middle eastern markets and the good chips and kit kats are at the asian markets.

In the UK we had cucumber & salad cream flavour Walkers (Lays) as a limited edition flavour & they were yummy, they had a strong dominating flavour of dill. And speaking of unusual chip flavours, we had Brussel Sprouts flavour at Christmas just past, which were surprisingly tasty!

True, but the big draw of dill pickle chips is the sour, vinegary, almost fermented flavor along with the dill undertones. I cannot picture cucumber potato chips having that degree of flavor to them. I may be mistaken, though.

Oh my gosh, India has a Magic Masala Lay's flavor that is absolutely bomb!! And in Thailand I tried a curry flavor and sweet chili flavor Pringles. They also had a "cooling melon" that tasted super weird. But I miss all the fun Asian chip flavors!!

The Sushi shop near my former office wrapped some of their sushi is cucumber skins instead of seaweed. It was something their family had done for many generations before moving to the US. The son who was the Sushi chef moved as a child to the US with his parents and sisters It was a great little place.

Here in Budapest, I was able to find Pringles Party Flavor Prosecco and Pink Peppercorn! Super good and authentic flavor. Fizzy and pink😊 Wish you could taste🎊

Here in China i always go for the hot pot flavored Lays, but my friends seem to enjoy the cucumber more (blech). There are some good seaweed ones, but I don't think they are Lays. The tomato ones are definitely sweet! Thanks for showing the world some of our "strange" flavors! Chinese snacks are so amazing and varied.

The trays in the Lays stacks might be specific to Chinese made chips. I've had Lays stacks here in the US and they didn't have trays in them.

@@Amm1ttai for sure, you are right. I live in Europe and the tube chips have trays. America is backwards on many things, like we have flushable toilet paper tubes and perforated plastic wrap here, for example.

@@iReporteriReporting Yeah, except the US does have perforated plastic wrap, and other kinds of plastic wrap. Also, we have tubeless toilet paper, which is far better than flushable tubes. Flushing toilet paper tubes down to the septic or sewage is whats bacwards, It's much better to recycle it than flushing the tubes.

Those first ridged ones are the Ruffles "Deep Ridged" style they have in a handful of flavors in the US (usually in small 'snack' size bags), which are also thicker/crunchier.

I’ve never liked watching someone eat as much as I do with Emmy. This was such an asmr video...the crunches were like 😳 I think my issue with western mukbang people is they’re literally gorging themselves and sorta eat in a revolting way. Probably just a pet peeve but watching Emmy eat a chip and cover her mouth like I do was what made this click for me ^^’’’’’ plus Emmy is so well spoken and the descriptions she gives are just 👌🏽👌🏽

One of my co-workers is a Filipino lady and she brings in some amazing things that she gets from the markets she shops at like crunchy salty snacks and all different flavors of Kit Kat bars. I love trying all of these wonderful treats, seems we all love crunchy and sweet yummys no matter where we come from on the planet, love experiencing other cultures goodies.

I was in Shanghai last month and saw the cucumber flavored chips at a Lawson’s so I decided to buy it. The flavor of the cucumber chip is refreshing but it’s just over seasoned for my taste. I wished that I tried the other weird flavors that Emmy posted.
