The dreaded Aston Expressway, Spaghetti Junction and the Bromford elevated section, makes driving through Newcastle look like a picnic. I can remember being in a traffic jam near Castle Vale and being able to see into the tower blocks in Castle Vale and seeing This Morning on the television sets.
