As a W204 owner myself (just a humble 2009 C200 Sport CDI saloon with the 6-speed manual transmission and 221K on the clock), I enjoyed this C63 series. Don't worry about "not being a presenter". Just be yourself. Don't try to emulate anyone else and develop your own style. Your in-depth knowledge of the brand is what counts. "While you're in there" has become your catchphrase. It was because of your C63 videos that I discovered that the COMAND scroll wheel wasn't working properly on my C200.

A very interesting video. You rebuilt the car to make it a properly functioning car. Whoever had worked on it did not know what they were doing and cut corners.

This was an awesome series of videos. Enjoyed every minute the C63 rebuild. As a long term Mercedes fan any AMG model Is of particular interest. I have watched a portion of your other videos too and enjoyed them just as much. I’d love to see more projects like this with other MB models. I have a sweet spot for 4Matic as well so that’s also very interesting. Please, don’t stop this great work!

I understand you need to be careful when releasing the oil out of the oil cooler as well. Unless the cooler is pre-filled or you get out the air in some other way, some air can be trapped in the cooler which, when released at the wrong time in its entirety, can lead to a sudden oil pressure loss within the engine which can be rather damaging to the engine. Over time, the air will be replaced little by little, but as long as that process is still occurring, the engine should only see moderate use.

I am loving the channel. Until I moved to Spain, I brought all my Mercs to SPR W211, W220, W203, W129, W124 est. I was the guy who always asked for a lift to the station because Steve told someone to take me the first time I came until you diplomatically told me that you didn’t normally do that! Cool video, you've taught this amateur mechanic some new things, thanks! Glad you've managed to bring that beast back to its former glory, did Steve Wonder worked on that car before you? When you were changing the prop shaft coupling I really thought that you'd also do the carrier bearing, you know, while you're in there hehe. Hopefully it'll find a good new home. On a different note, I'd say that pre-facelift sedan W204 looks so much better than facelifted one in my opinion. I like how the coupe looks tho, that's why I have one :) Dashboard is nicer too. Seating position for the driver is utter rubbish and I'll never get over it.

Impressive video from start to finish, Sam. Lovely to see someone looking at the whole picture and it's intricacies. We were really pleased with our recent visit to SPR to diagnose fault with our C Class, that no one else seemed to have a clue about. Very professional and approachable. Mental how much rectification work that needs either because the last guy wasnt paid or ran out of pride. Bosch wipers fit with the same clips but dont have the little circles. I'll need to the other video again but im sure the number plate plinth is £60, that might have put iff the last owner. Good video, the young men look keen and interested to learn. I'm worried that covid has made some of the older blokes leave the trade and there is young guys now not getting the tips and tricks from more experience but Reece and Nathan are well covered.

Bloody excellent in my book I will take my after market wiper blades off straight away and buy genuine ones. After market wiper connector s whistle in the wind whilst driving

Not many genuine mechanics like you about. Just hope my brake checkup doesn't come through that much. There is both a Bosh and Mercedes Garage centres nearby. Would they be still based on the same skill at a price?

Looked like way more than the 12 hours.

I never fitted an alarm on mine. I just left it with the fuel low so the light was on. If anyone took it they wouldn’t get to the end of the road. Has it had the recall for the head bolts?
