The Nottingham trams system is a 2 line, 32 kilometer (20 miles) tram system running the city of Nottingham. It opened in 2004 and is mostly separated from car traffic. The rolling stock used on the network are the Bombardier Incentro AT6/5 and the Alstom Citadis 302. The livery on all of the trams is grey and green matching the logo of Nottingham Express Transit (NET). NET is the company which manages all public transport in Nottingham and also manages the fares. A one way ticket costs either £1.40 or £2.30 depending on if you are travelling during peak hours. You can buy a ticket at any tram stop or pay directly with a credit/debit card at the validator. This tram system is an excellent example of what a city of Nottingham's size should have as a public transit system. It well connects the city and makes for easy mobility around Nottingham. The service is fast and frequent allowing for a convenient and comfortable ride. I fully recommend taking the trams to get around Nottingham if you are in the city. Enjoy the video :)

How old is the rolling stock on the Nottingham Trams?

The original Bombardier Incentro trams were made in 2002-2003 and put into service in 2004. The thinner looking Citadis 302s were built in 2013-2014 and put into service in 2014.

I found them to be pretty normal but the front of the citadis 302 makes it look super slim

@@Transport_International The Citadis exist in various widths, from 2.30 to 2.80m, if I recall correctly, though not sure if any were produced wider than 2.65m. Some of Paris latest ones running on lines T9 and T10 (405 / X05) are quite wide : 2.65m, like also the Citadis 402 on lines T3a and T3b (those lines have subway like ridership in the several hundred thousands daily). But the Citadis on T7 and T8 are 2.40m wide. The ones in this video seem to be on the narrow side, so 2.4m or less. And yeah, the front further reinforces the "slim" impression.
