The shirt was held up to honor and show support for one of the Academy coaches who is currently battling cancer. Charlotte is really good about honoring and supporting the community and players as well as coaches who are on the team who might have something going on off the field.
Yes. It’s a plastic pitch.. Bank of America Stadium is artificial turf. It was installed for the NFL team, Carolina Panthers, they also play at that stadium. Artificial turf is common in the NFL… That artificial turf is so poor that even the NFL players complain about it and want it replaced before someone gets seriously hurt. The owner refuses to do it. I’ve obviously never walked on it, but I’ve been told it’s like walking on solid concrete bricks that bounce and sway a little.
@@AVFTS2 are you crazy? We love it. It’s a big home-field advantage for us. And plus, Lionel Messi in Miami come to Charlotte to our artificial turf for the last game of the season. The playoff race might come down to that. The Miami coach said Lionel Messi will not play on artificial turf. When Lionel Messi doesn’t play, Miami is very beatable. that’ll be our chance to probably be the first team to beat Miami and prevent them from making the playoffs while we do. Artificial turf is flipping awesome! Charlotte, NYCFC, New England Revolution, Chicago fire, Atlanta United, Seattle sounders, and Vancouver whitecaps still play on artificial turf.
In the four games leading up to this game, LAFC had outscored their opponent 17-4. Charlotte fans were expecting this to be an absolute battering.. We have conceded 41 goals in 24 games including last night. There has been so many games where we have scored two or three goals, and then had to either take a loss or a single point this season because our defense is so bad. There was a run of games where we blew three consecutive 2-0 halftime leads for draws. That was Ashley Westwood‘s second goal in MLS and scott arfields first.
I love the predictions! thanks again for a great laugh Buoanga made the first nutmeg PRESS PAUSE and predict I love it But hey: 2 nutmegs in a row? that would be epic
Down game for LAFC but as a Charlotte fan we’ll take it. I don’t know what finally clicked, but starting in our quarterfinals run in leagues cup something finally clicked for Charlotte. Hopefully this has finally helped turn our season in the direction we thought it would be from the start.
@@AVFTS2 they are back to tied with Orlando and Nashville after this game. Against Nashville, they had a 0-0 draw going into second half stoppage time. They scored in the 93rd minute, and then gave up a 98 minute penalty to settle for a point.
I’m not a soccer fan in general but I live in the same state at Charlotte. They’re in their second year so I’ve been a fan because they’re here, and the World Cup of course made me watch soccer, so I’m a relatively new fan. That being said the game winning goal had me as excited as I’ve ever been about sports! That was awesome go Charlotte!!
Keep up the MLS reaction. I appreciate the work you do helping the league gets some recognition. Also will you be going to the United States sometime in the future? If so, where would you like to go and which MLS team would you watch play in person? And if you do go, you should make a vlog and upload it to the channel so we can see your in person experience to a futbol game in our country.
On paper LAFC should be good, and they had a great start, but ever since that champions cup finals lose, every time they are under pressure they seem to just crumble. So disappointing, at least it looks like IMCF can carry the tourch for the league now.
