I often meet Filipino customers at my work place. 1. He came to buy Indonesian products and I thought he was Indonesian but he was Filipino. It turns out that Filipino faces are really the same as Indonesian faces 😊 2. A woman came to my shop. I said hello, I thought Indonesians turned out to be Filipinos too 😄. She said Indonesian people are really friends and very friendly like you 😁. he said Philippines and Indonesia are brothers 🤗
Wow... you guys do come back... 😊😊😊 Welcome to Indonesia, again. And I hope you'll only meet everything good in Indonesia, and go back with only good memories of our homeland...

F.y.i. In indonesian, rolling the "R"s are very important and it makes it a distinct Indonesian feature. And yes, we roll our Rs on all the words that have R in them. (Tho not everyone can do it but it differentiates us from our closest language relative, the Bahasa Melayu)

Welcome to Jakarta... my hometown...!!! I always serve the best to my clients... Equestrian Olympic judges... one of them said I think Jakarta is now much better than KL ha ha ha... cause I always bring them to the best places for stay... dine and shop as well as chillin...!!! 😂❤
Welcome home, long lost brothers, fun fact that Vietnam and The Philippines were parts of Indonesia, long before the west came to mess around. Even Mindanao and Manila were founded by my Forefathers of Minangkabau/West Sumatra so is with Malaysia and Singapore. Jakarta is 6 times size of Paris Europe's largest city. Jakarta is the 1st Place Winner of STA 2021 (world's best public transport) Indonesia is truly world's superpower, filthy western world has been drawing the world map all wrong since Mercator 1569 on purpose belittling Indonesia much bigger than Europe and USA.
4:35 halo, hai (indo) = hello, hi (eng) 4:39 selamat (indo) = a form of greeting e.g. selamat pagi (good morning), selamat siang/selamat sore (good afternoon), selamat malam (good evening/night), selamat ulang tahun (happy birthday), selamat tahun baru (happy new year). It's also used to congratulate someone's achievements and anniversary, and other special occasions they celebrate like happy graduation (selamat atas kelulusanmu), happy anniversary (selamat merayakan ulang tahun pernikahan), congratulations on your new business (selamat atas bisnis barumu) Selamat can also mean safe, for instance: We arrived safe and sound (Kami tiba dengan selamat dan sehat).
Indonesia is lovely country. People are smiling a lot, everytime. They are very helpful too. Just like any crowded city, you still need to be very cautious of pickpocket and robbery. It's rather uncommon, but NOT rare. Keep your phone tight, keep your belongings close to you all the time. And make sure your wallet is deep in your pocket. Most indonesian is extremely good people, but a deed of a thief among 100.000 kind people is enough to change your opinion about indonesian.
Great video guys. Anyway “Selamat Datang” di Indonesia means “Welcome” to Indonesia. On the other hand “Selamat pagi/sore/malam” means “Good morning/afternoon/evening”. And “Apa kabar mu” means “how are you”. Good luck learning the language and enjoy your trip.
Better check google translate first when you make an Indonesian text.. they clearly said "satu", and the text said "santu" multiple times so thats not a typo.. but based on your story about rupiah and rupees, it seems like you won't like doing research first, so never mind, just a suggestion
