🇮🇪☘️ Looking to visit Ireland? Here are some don'ts when visiting Dublin. Before you go, make sure to watch this video to learn the hidden truth about your safety in the city. Discover an area to avoid and tips for staying safe in Dublin. Don't let safety concerns keep you from experiencing all this charming city has to offer! 🍀Visit Ireland virtually.
🇮🇪A walking tour that includes chatting with the horse and carriage guys at the Guinness Hop Store and The Most Dangerous Alley in Dublin City Centre. Harbour Court Laneway. For information purposes only. Stay safe in Dublin.
****This video is 'not' a tour of the Guinness Store House.
The lane discussed here is where the gangs congregated before the Dublin riots in 2023. "When night falls the laneway becomes a hub of dangerous activity"
This video of walking a Dublin City location was made for historical purposes as it is about to be closed off.
It passes through a city center park and highlights the Dublin homeless and homeless in Dublin situation on our streets. The walk continues to the three lanes of Harbour Court Alley before viewing some more beautiful places to see in Dublin.
Recently the Irish Health Service reported 40 OD's in 36 hours which is something to keep in mind if you watch.
If you're looking for what to do in Dublin or what to see in Dublin, this is where you 'don't' go.

Dublin born and bred, out of it for 14yrs now, only returned once in that time. Years before I left it was a dangerous kip, going into town at night, the atmosphere was violent. Living in an Eastern European country now. Have seen women walk through badly lit parks on their own late at night, after midnight at times. They were in no danger of being approached or assaulted. The only real danger here is from driving. I've driven all over Europe and I've never seen worse drivers than here. Road rage can be a problem.

Great to hear you’re somewhere nice and safe. I spent quite a bit of time all over East Europe and can’t say I ever felt unsafe. Ukraine, Lithuania, Latvia, Poland. Never had hassle. But then I don’t really here either. I wonder how you’ll feel if you pop back here. It’s changing so fast my friend. Good and bad. Anyway, that’s for the comment and cheers if you subbed. Your videos are very informative and interesting, it show’s how like most city’s throughout the world there will always be a element of anti social behaviour.Personally I think the largest drug dealer in Dublin is Guinness, it has destroyed more families and sons and daughters than any other narcotics. There are some wonderful architectural structures and sites to see within the Capital of Ireland Dublin.

The Government need to build hostels for the homeless also addiction centers and help people that are born here to rehabilitate them back into the real working class world, Dublin is our home the homeless have no were to go or no chance to survive in this city we need a change in government to address this situation then take care of international affairs,Father Peter Mc Ferry has done so much on his own without help from the government fair play to that saint of a man the goverment should be ashamed of themselves treating our people like shit we all carry irish passports were irish and its the goverments care of duty to assist our people when in need.

Dublin has gone down hill in the last couple of years in particular...In my opinion it's mainly due to the massive amount of new arrivals...100s of thousands of them ...A huge amount are not even vetted 🤷‍♂️
@bogtrotterErin
@bogtrotterErin 5 месяцев назад
Very true. The vetting processes have greatly let this country down. Also this situation where “refugees” were destroying their passports on the plane so we just had to believe where they were from. Only one case of someone doing this and going to trial. Also, people arriving from war torn countries who are living thousands of miles from the danger zones knowing that our customs guys can’t tell that as their passports have a country but not a region on them. We’ve been very lax and I hope it’s not too late to wean out the fake ‘economic’ migrants and those who just transferred from other European countries as Ireland had more to offer in terms of housing and benefits. Those benefits how and ever have been greatly reduced so we are not the glowing offer we have been previously.

I will say compared to American cities Dublin felt very safe. That said, I always keep my head on a swivel, never flash valuables and keep my wits about me. Now, I did not venture down mount st, the grand canal did not have a tent community set up yet, and we stayed off O'Conner St and out of Temple Bar area. Do you know something but one of the worst things I ever witnessed in Dublin ever was down a similar Machete Laneway when a Dublin girl clearly badly badly ravaged by drugs asked me one night was "i lookin for business" if it was a Mugging I don't think would have bothered me as much as one of my own People engaging in Prostitution to support a drug habit, i suppose just cos it is so rare to encounter in my experience. In terms of leaving our homeless guys in the street while seemingly housing anyone who arrives here without properly vetting them, I think it’s shameful. You would wonder what there agenda is. Although I have every empathy for the Ukrainian refugees and anyone who genuinely needs our help, the fact is this. We have taken in ten times the number of refugees that other European countries have. What’s that about? My next video is addressing that. @@bogtrotterErin yeah but the angle there is that tourists.. u.s. german ect.. wander around there.. ive seen a bunch get chatted up to bits by addicts.. after my passive agressive talking too just up on a corner by some phycos.. i was walking out with me hair standing with my hands saying no.. and my feet saying gooo.. and i saw a bunch of lost? Tourist bunching up to the charms of a couple addicts.. id normally stick around to help user them to somewhere more lively.. coz that block surrounding those high walls is like a giant square long alleyway.. with not much watching going on there.. a bike and they gone.. a wrong turn for tourist imo.. im used of rough.. but got overwelmed in there.. looked trough a gap.. saw a yard of containers stacked.. a dude had a house made out the top one. Dog. Booze ect. Balcony.. sunbathing.. seen me.. wasnt impressed.. blowing his cover in... Freedom.. but looked like a addict.. so i can imagine what goes on.. i worked on the wiskey vaults at sheriff street.. fekin nuts cleaning that place out.. freerange desperate subculture.. mad max meets escape from new york.. layers upon layers.. like arcioligy.. of crime evidence.. a million handbags ect. Decades of horror.. or fun lol its a matter of perspective they say.

Crazy rubish .. up to the ceilings.. take weeks to find the floor.. big high room in the end.. not a vault it was in beginning.. 6 massive wiskey barrels for just the tops of gazillion srynges.. for just the metal bits.. should have just demonished it.. turn that corner and ther nearly someone or two injecting outside where the booze factory was.. i was young at the time.. and it shocked me . Never heard or anything so rough.. was terrified up on room incase it caved in and i fell into all that madness.. if i did probably just say well thats me snookered .. leave me here . Ive documented addicts lives and its shocking the stuff they were doing daily.. heart breaking in many ways.. and alot are cluster b types and dangerous.. daily.. to pthers.. and very grooming in different criminal and manipulating ways to runaways ect ! Ive seen themself flourish but the used ' buddy' crash and burn.. from young pissed off kid to old bold and unfortunately cold in the end.. all in my head like yesterday... Tried warn but sometimes be out talked by a covert narrsisist ect.. ends in tears.. for family. Could have being me.. If i had a little money for habits.. less may be more in this situation...

@@bogtrotterErin and people said the heroin was used as a tool to pry apart the community that was happy enough snd florishing in city.. then it crumbled to bs. Remember the glue sniffers ? Sitting beside cops on the streps willy nilly ? 1987 ? @ Not hiding the fact. Wonder where they are now but van imagine.

Thanks for your comment. This video is highlighting the ‘shithole parts’. It has great beauty too. And we can’t carry guns here thankfully.

I walk through that place all the time pal . Never had any bother it's a hell of a lot better then it use to be. When the barn was full of smack. It's all crack and meth now days . The brown isn't as popular as it use to be. Drugs now days are different there was no Crack cocaine crystal meth or spice. when I was a addict thank God. I'd no doubt be dead or have serious mental problems. Recovery is a beautiful thing ❤
